Veronica stayed quiet and Mike was paying attention to the road along with the driver. In response, Felix just nodded. Now he was familiar with Nick. He was ready for all the tricks Nick had in his sleeves. "So tell me, where we were back then?" Nick questioned. "Huh? Inside the studio of Ghostbusters?" Felix answered back. "Right! What do Ghostbusters do?" "As the name suggests? Ghostbusting?" "Pffttt! Hahahaha! that's the lamest answer I've ever heard."

The goblin alighted on a stone structure with gargoyles on it. The place looked like an old prison. What did this goblin have in mind? Sean landed on the top of one of the stone walls. It looked down into a courtyard. Colleen was on the ground. As far as he could tell through their connection, she was still alive. The goblin hovered over her. Sean dove toward the enemy, but it vanished. He landed at the last minute right next to Colleen. The goblin wasn't in sight, but Sean doubted he'd gone too far since his goal was to kill Colleen.

Underneath the ice, there was a small, circular carving of a crescent moon. "Gabriel," I said, pointing to the carving. "Hit this stone with the back of your axe. Not too hard, just enough to shake the loose rocks." Gabriel did not ask questions. He lifted his heavy iron axe and slammed the flat side against the carved moon. A loud CRACK echoed through the canyon. Suddenly, the giant grey stone shifted. A loud rumbly sound filled the air as the secret rock door slid open, revealing a wide, dark tunnel entrance leading straight into the heart of the mountain.

A short whistle of an arrow past my head, and when I look back I saw at least four of the little beast. I turned to follow Marika. I'm almost at the corner when an arrow stabs on my shoulder. And I don't see Marika, But there is a section of the partially-crumbled wall that I think I can climb swiftly. Another arrow whistles by before I was able to roll over the top of the battlement and onto the rotten wooden floorboards on the other side. In a few seconds, there are four goblins at the base of the wall, chattering angrily. One of them begins climbing up the rotten rock.

He slows suddenly and raises a hand, signaling me to stop. I halt beside him. At first I do not see anything. Then my eyes land on it. A dark opening in the rock. A cave. It sits half hidden behind hanging vines and rough stone, like someone wanted it to stay unnoticed. The faint cry echoes again from inside, weak and trembling. My stomach twists. Caleb glances at me once. His expression turns hard, sharp with focus. Without a word he steps toward the entrance. I follow immediately. The air inside the cave feels colder. Damp. The faint smell of metal and stale air presses against my nose as we move deeper into the shadows. The light from outside fades quickly behind us.

"Today, we'll descend into the depths of the cave, following the ancient riverbed that once flowed to the underworld. The water's crystal clear, but the passage narrows and darkness awaits.
