I went with Grim because in the 15th Century everyone began to call me the Grim Reaper.”

The mysterious being slowly turned towards me and with a sarcastic smirk he replied, "I am a shell of the God I once was, my dear Gia. I have had many names, Hel, La Muerte, Shinigami, Psychopomp, and Thanatos. Many in North America know me as the Grim Reaper or just plain Death for short. In this moment, and under this demon’s rule, I am Thanatos.

His shadow crept over me and I shut my eyes. "Don't be nice to me," I rasped. "Be evil. Give me a reason strong enough to keep hating you." I felt his hands caressing my face. He tucked a stray of my hair behind my ears and raised my chin up. I kept my eyes shut. A tiny voice in my head was screaming at me. No. Don't look at him. Don't look into those crimson red eyes. He's a devil. He'll burn your soul. Remember what he's done. He's the Grim reaper. He stole the lives of your family as well as countless innocent lives.

I had a brief vision that was blurred and completely incoherent. "I'm fucked, aren't I, I can't become a reaper and will die in my eighties, huh," I mumbled sadly with a slight buzz. I had drained two full glasses and I was sad drunk. I plopped next to Grim and a tear fell down my cheek. He looked at me and wiped it away. "Don't weep, I haven't exhausted all my tricks yet, besides some half reapers are immortal," he smirks. I leaned back into the couch cushions and passed out from my drunkenness.

"Wow, who would have thought this was what had been in stock for us all this while? He's all yours Gin, I'm pretty sure your feeble hands might be able to take him down" A different voice sounded from behind and I turned to see another one of them, emerging from the woods. "Where is Nyx?" Narek, I mean the grotesque-looking creature in Narek's body demanded but the newest addition totally ignored him. This seemed to rile Narek up as he conjured a black, ethereal fire that burns with an unnatural intensity. This fire could consume and corrupt whatever it touches. Within warning he sent it in the way of the Sorcerer who was a total snob but he was smart and quick to move out of the way.

A high-pitched scream is heard, bringing me out of my lethargy, and I see with horror the whore my cousin had planned to send me. "By the Madonna! Lulu!" "Hello, Gina," Lucia replies in a friendly manner. "Look at you! You're all beautiful!" the whore says excitedly. "Thank you, Gina. I came to say hello to Don Elio. There's a crooked line through his notes that he doesn't seem to notice. He stares at the door they left through. Then, the door gets kicked open. One flat bang, the latch surrendering immediately. Two figures in the frame. The tall one first, red hair catching the light, the kind of face built for walking into rooms like he owns them. Behind him, a second one leans against the doorframe with the mild expression of someone who finds everything mildly amusing. Goblin actually yelps. The red-haired one, Bore, scans the room once. "Who's the Grim Reaper. Come out."
