He grabs my hand, and we start running again.
Behind us, I can hear the goblins' high-pitched laughter, their claws scraping against the rocks.
This time, we have no cover, no trees to hide behind. We're out in the open, with nowhere to go.
We sprint alongside the cliff, following the terrain as it climbs and grows rockier, the goblins' screeches echoing in our ears. I scan the area, hoping for some sort of solution, but there's nothing. Just grass on one side, waves crashing against rocks on the other, and murderous little devils behind us.
