The Dual Claim
“I had a dream that had Luna in it. She didn’t have anything good to say.”
“Luna is the shifter moon goddess, right?” she asked as we resumed walking.
She had both hands around the handle of the basket, so we weren’t back to holding hands yet.
“Correct.”
“And that’s the only one you worship, correct?” she asked.
“Again, correct,” I answered, taking the heavy basket from her hands. “Generations before us made offerings for planting season, harvesting, and things like that, but it was all done in Luna’s name. With modern science, we don’t rely on offerings now for a good crop.”
