A figure stepped out of the shadows, towering and monstrous. It was Elijah, but not as we had seen him before. His form was warped, his skin pale and cracked, his eyes glowing with an unnatural light. Power radiated off him, suffocating and unrelenting.
He raised his hands, his voice booming over the battlefield. “This ends now.”
Wolves scattered, fear breaking their ranks. Even Gideon stepped back, his confidence wavering.
