The battle which had come to a halt because of Damien’s sacrifice has now been ended by the interference of the Gods. There is no guilt within me. There is just dark and vicious satisfaction. Let them burn. Let them feel what it is like. The whole thing is over within a couple of minutes and the silence stretches across the field. Finally, the Gods face me, ‘What do you wish from us?’ My eyes flicker towards Damien and when I look up, the field is gone. Let me and my mate live in peace. We don’t want to be separated anymore

“Once a wedding between a human and a god or goddess happens, the bride or groom can ask for a wish from any one of the gods and goddesses.” Langrion wondered, “A wish? What sort of wish can one ask?” “Anything can be asked,” Templar said, “Even the lifting of a curse can be requested.” Langrion’s eyes widened. So the solution that Shia had mentioned before was this – the fulfilment of a marriage wish! “It’s easy enough to say that, but the god whom you should ask this wish from should be the originator of the curse, and you know damn well, Templar, that Sirion won’t be reached by ordinary means.” Mage Silas said, his face darkening.

Generation after generation, century after century, the god race cycled through war and peace, and Wishing Stones became fewer and fewer until only six were left. By this time, the gods decided to settle on a truce. Either that, or they lose the god mother’s legacy forever and end up fighting until extinction. So, the six remaining Stones were divided among the six god clans. The god clans then divided Gaia into six realms, at the heart of each was a Wishing Stone—where each realm was ruled by its own Sovereign, and the Wishing Stone became part of their regalia. It was the greatest taboo to make a wish on a Wishing Stone, no matter how noble or righteous or harmless the wish might appear to

It was a mechanical deadbolt that could physically sever the Origin Point from the global grid, effectively "killing" the Digital Hope if she ever strayed from her purpose. "The Last Protocol is the hardest one," Leo said, looking at the key. "It’s the realization that even a goddess needs a fail-safe.
