The New Wolf

The New Wolf

Then the ludicrousness of her thought popped up and she locked eyes with him again. "Stop using that voice on me." "For being so young and so new, you really are quite strong. I think you're going to make a fine addition around here. Lesser wolves can't speak to me that way." "That's a horrible way to talk about your pack." "It's not horrible if it's the truth." James shrugged. "All wolves are not created equal." "Then what makes me so special?" "If there were a rhyme or reason I would tell you. Strong genes?"

The Denali Wolves

The Denali Wolves

But alas, Mom needs my help today and I promised I’d pick her up some hot coffee on my way over to help warm her up since we’re in the middle of Autumn and in Denali, it’ll only get colder from here. Luckily, Denali wolves are built for this kind of persistent wintry climate being that we’ve been living on these snowy-capped Mountains for centuries now that we've grown almost resistant to the cold. It also helps that we're especially known for having white, fluffy fur coats in our wolf form that protect us from the worst of the winds, compared to our other shifter neighbors. I follow reluctantly behind Becca as we enter the Beanery, my mood dwindling with each step we get closer to the worst

A Wolf's Equilibrium

A Wolf's Equilibrium

She is so young Jane thought sadly looking too long at her. Corra was also a beauty, but she slightly sickly looking Jane thought. Pale thin and boney, she had on tiny ripped jean shorts and her knees were sharp and boney. She would have looked at home in cowboy boots. She had dark brown hair and shocking green eyes. Not that Jane got much of a look because her face was a little busy. The light brown wolf had matching chestnut hair as a human, with freckles on his shoulders and more body hair than a person Jane had ever seen.

Celestite Wolf

Celestite Wolf

“Kind of, mostly bedtime stories she said her mother passed down. She didn’t really want to talk about it much.” Tasha walked over to the bookshelf and pulled down an old picture album, “this is from the earlier 1900s. photos of my grandmother and her children.” She flipped through the pictures till she came across the page she was looking for. In the large photo was 4 wolves, but one of them stood out from the others. A white wolf with bright eyes. “The Celestine Wolf. It’s passed down in our family, skipping generations at a time. Their eyes glow a bright blue, each Celestine wolf chosen by the Goddess herself. My mother used to say that my grandmother could speak to the Goddess herself in

Wolf

Wolf

She continued on about facts and such while others ogled over them. "To finish off our tour, I give you, the wolves. Now what we have here are gray wolves. We actually have a pack here in our zoo. We have six females, three pups, and our Alpha. Now our Alpha name is Alastor. Which in Ancient Greek means "tormentor." We named him this because he doesn't like anyone. No one can get near him, feed him, or be in the habitat with him awake. He is put under tranquilizer. Does anyone know what that is?" She asked the group of kids in the front. Eliza and I looked down over the wall separating us from the wild wolves. Four of the females were in sight and we could even see the pups.

A Queen Among Alphas

A Queen Among Alphas

Alden says. Elias looks between the two confused, “What the hell is wulfenite?” “Wulfenite is a rare mineral that is particularly toxic to us wolves. In small doses, it causes hallucinations and psychosis and can eventually lead to death. A large dose is inevitably lethal,” he explains, making me gulp. “How much was in her system?” Tyson asks with gritted teeth. “A large amount I’m afraid. But it would have had to have been administered to her within the last six hours for her to have been showing such severe symptoms. We’ve had to put her on dialysis for now.”

Denae O'Connor
The entire 'A Queen Among ' series is fantastic. The characters are full of depth, and It's refreshing to see an author of supernatural dark romance novels take a different approach instead of staying with the same story tropes we've read a hundred times. Amelia is the OG Queen and I loved this one

What. A. Book. Read this in a day because i couldn't put it down. I've been reading books on GN for about a year or so and this has to be, hands down the best one i have read. This deserves WAY more attention. So unique! An empowering female lead who delivers from start to finish, we need more!

Bizarre Wolf

Bizarre Wolf

I was a little scared of her because she almost had it her way and also remembering that she almost killed Ivy before if it weren't for all of us coming to his rescue. My ears perked up at Ivan's growl and the snap of his bones. He was transforming into his wolf as the other stole someone's wolf disguise. "We gotta help him," I said, rushing to him but Ivy pulled me back, holding me in place. "This is a fight between Alphas. We can't interfere." Ivy said which made no sense to me. "Why? Is it like hurting their pride?" I asked in vain. He nodded, watching as Ivan shifted in his wolf who was pure black and had golden glaciers eyes with little specks of radiating brown. In short, it was beauti

Rejected And Claimed By Her Trio Mates

Rejected And Claimed By Her Trio Mates

Their gazes meet, and something silent passes between them. Kian’s agitation fades just a little. He growls, then stomps off across the grass. Frost inclines his head for me to follow. “We are wolves,” he says, falling into step beside me—close, but not close enough for my wolf to lose her mind. “But not normal wolves,” I clarify. Malix laughs from Frost’s other side. “What the hell is a ‘normal’ wolf?” “Canis lupus,” Frost replies evenly. “Commonly known as the gray wolf, or the timber wolf. A member of the Canidae family that occupies much of the northern hemisphere.”

The Water Fairy's Affair

The Water Fairy's Affair

I watched as the red wolf eventually formed fins on his back and tail, as excess skin formed behind his elbows and in front of his stifles, giving his legs more of a flippered look. "No, shit!" A man with foggy blue eyes and short brown hair said in unison with the woman that I assumed to be my brother's mate. "So THAT'S a Gonakadet?!?" A toned woman with brown eyes and foggy blue hair that matched the eyes of the other guy asked in shock. They had to be related. Siblings? "More like a goldfish in a bowl, but that's besides the point!" Air bubbles left the wolf's mouth as he growled at Cerulean's words.

Alpha Chace's World

Alpha Chace's World

My mom, Justina's mom, and I were shocked when we saw her wolf. "Oh, my Goddes. I thought they were a myth," My mom said when she saw Justina's Wolf. "So did I, but I guess we were wrong," Justina's mom added. Justina's wolf was Golden with red eyes. There was a legend that the Golden Wolf would be the most powerful werewolf in the world. They were even more powerful than the White wolf, which was rare. There were only four known white wolves in the world. The Golden Wolf was the True leader of the Werewolf community, but no one believed in the Golden Wolf. I didn't know much about the Golden Wolf, but I did know that there was supposed to be one Golden Wolf born every five-hundred years.

At the beginning I was iffy! But then I started to see the progress. But honestly the author need to have more consistency on the character names. I have read other books from the author and had been excellent and without a doubt this one will be too.
Queen619
So good so far. Please describe what the characters look like. At this point everyone is ambiguous just like the girl on the cover photo. I’m assuming she’s Black from the cover photo but I’m sure I’m wrong.
