Chris came towards me and held my hand from which blood was dripping. But I didn't cared "Xav calm down! What happened??" I ignored him and instead I left, running towards the forest to release the beast inside of me who was as angry as I was. My wolf was a golden wolf with hazel eyes. He is rare. It is said only 0.02% of wolves ever known were golden and I am very proud to be one. My speed increased as I crossed my packs boundary My wolf was guiding me directions as I was giving him permission.

Golden or yellow wolves are extremely rare and are considered to be the first living creature created by Roog, the Supreme God. Normally in our world, color of your wolf doesn’t matter. Most shifters are a variation of black, grey, brown, and sometimes white. White is uncommon but it does appear, usually white means they have a gift bestowed upon them by the Moon Goddess. But the colors, red, yellow, gold, sable or any variation of, don’t exist in our world. It’s been so long since those colors have been seen they have pretty much been erased from our archives. Our mate is both, I don’t think there has ever been a wolf that was both red and gold, so who is she?

So much was lost to us and I didn't want it to be our downfall. After flipping through half the book I found the section I was looking for; The Meaning of Color in Wolves Eyes. I swear I saw gold in Chris's eyes and I skimmed over the chapters until I found the word gold or yellow. There were apparently many different kinds of rare wolves that use to exist. "Ah, here it is. Wolves of golden irises are those with great powers to protect. Shadows are powerful midnight wolves. They were created to be assassins for the moon goddess to eliminate any strong powers that threatened their kind."

He asked seriously. "No, a breed way stronger than an alpha." I answered. "And that is..?" He asked. "A golden wolf." I answered calmly. "What the fuck is a golden wolf." He asked loudly as I sighed. Was I suppose to go through everything those old grandpa's had said?. It was impossible. "A golden wolf is a wolf with an ability to control minds. To be specific, all minds. Supernatural beings, human or fantasy creature/shifter." I answered. "Are you messing with me?"

~. .~ Paws Creek was a lively hub of activity, and the visiting she-wolves from various packs stood out with their distinct colors. Each pack had its unique attire, making it easy to distinguish them. The she-wolves wearing pristine white garments were clearly from the Glacier Pack, their attire reflecting the icy lands they hailed from. Their presence exuded an air of cold elegance. On the other hand, the she-wolves donned in vibrant yellow attire hailed from the Sun Pack. Their outfits radiated warmth and vitality, mirroring the sunny region they represented.

Was that Riven? A majestic translucent golden wolf suddenly appeared out of nowhere and floated in the air towards Layla. The wolf was the size of a mountain lion, and it glowed brightly like a bonfire. A plume of golden light followed behind it as it hovered in the air above her, surrounding her with its golden light. "What is that?",Xavier frowned when the golden wolf stayed above Layla, preventing him from going closer to her. It didn't look like an ordinary animal. Meanwhile, Layla stared at the wolf as it hovered over her. The colour of the fur was unmistakable. Only one person had that fur.

As she looked across the clearing it was filled with wolves, black, brown, grey, sable, and one lone white wolf. He was immense and stood on the precipice, watching those below. A black wolf that was just as big approached and stood by his side. They exchanged glances and looked in her direction. She had to side step to avoid being bowled over by the gigantic black panther that barreled past her on her way to the top of the bluff. She rubbed her body along the side of the white wolf. She purred as he licked her head.

Lela whispered to me. “Do you see his eyes? They are so blue that they are almost black. I have never seen a color that is that dark but still blue.” The black wolf appeared to relax. He opened his mouth slightly and let his tongue hang out to the side. Lela has a puzzled look on her face, as do I. “I wish I knew who he is.” I look again in his eyes. Gold and silver specks swirled in his eyes. The black wolf stood and leaned over the water, taking a drink. He then lied down at the base of the rock.

I turned to the window so no one would catch me almost smiling. My phone buzzed. Soren. “The seven packs are here,” the message said. “All of them. It’s going well.” A few seconds later: “Also, the confluence ground is doing something new.” Then another: “Kaelis. The gold light changed color.” I sat up straighter. Typed back, “Changed to what?” The reply came fast. “Silver. It’s all silver now, for the last ten minutes. The first wolf is at the center, not moving. Just standing there like it’s waiting. I think it’s waiting for you.”

I was about to tell them that Derek Novak owned me and harming me would be a big mistake, but was interrupted by Husky before I could speak. “Who cares?” he spoke up. “Anyone who walks past the forest and reaches the fortress is under our mercy. I’m sure her master will thank us for teaching the insolent slave a lesson.” His finger traced one of the scratches on my legs, drawing blood with his protruding claw. He took a whiff of the blood and smiled before tasting it. He smiled. “Sweet.” It was Pitchy who seemed apprehensive. “Perhaps we shouldn’t touch her. We don’t know who owns her.” Still, his eyes were on me, his free hand running the length of my arm.
