I knew that he was still away on whatever bloody honeymoon that he was on. He picked on the first ring. “Mateo,” granduncle Gonzalez was the first to speak, and my dad recognized his voice immediately. “Oh, it’s you,” my dad said, sounding a little skeptical. “Yes, it’s me, and I am not very pleased right now,” granduncle Gonzalez said. There was a brief silence, and granduncle Gonzalez became impatient. “It seems as though you didn’t speak with Dante?” He asked my dad. “Not yet,” my dad responded, and I became to feel wary about what was going on. “I have been busy with a lot of things,” he added.

Adonis laughed in embarrassment as well. "Okay, maybe you don't need to stay behind. Do you think you can reach other warriors and Gammas? Do you know where they have gone?" "Yeah, I think I could do that..." He said, scratching the back of his head, "I wished my Dad was still here, he knew so much more than I do." Unlike me and my father, I knew Adonis had a great relationship with his father. His father was also a Beta, and he was my father's Beta. Unfortunately, he died in the battle like my mother did.

my mum apologized, her voice trembling. "It's okay, Catherine," my dad replied softly, holding her close. "Everything's going to be okay now." After a few moments, we all sat down, and my mum began to explain everything that had happened to us while we were away, with Jones and Gina listening carefully. The room fell silent as she recounted the trials and tribulations we had endured. "So, the guy I saw on the news was Dagon," my father said to himself. Catherine sat up, " News?" She asked in confusion.

Daddy will apologize for whatever he’s done” Because suddenly everything was clicking into place. Giovanni was the bad man Cannon talked about. My dad had gotten into some bad shit with Giovanni.

She also said Eugene had seen Ian as his biological father since he was a child, and she couldn't let anyone destroy everything they had built. Ian, however, had already tuned her out. He immediately hung up on her. The room fell into a dead silence. After a long while, he looked at me and said hoarsely, "I'll deal with her." I looked up at him calmly. "It doesn't matter who you deal with. It won't bring Mom back." Ian looked as if those words had nailed him to the spot. For what felt like an eternity, he didn't make another sound. … In no time, things spiraled out of control. Ian began to look into the money he thought he had given Mom and me over the years. The results showed that not a si

He turned to his father " She's my girlfriend, Dad " he declared. " Ex girlfriend " Ava corrected, her nose flaring in anger.

Let her know he wasn’t too upset about her calling his father a has-been. “I was going to play the first riff I ever learned for you tonight, but—” “He never could play it right,” his dad’s voice interrupted from backstage. The unmistakable riff of Winged Faith’s hit song “Mystic” blared through the speakers as Malcolm O’Neil headed across the stage in Brian’s direction. Dad was playing on Sinners’ stage.
