I reach for the door handle, my hand outstretched, but before I can even touch it, the door swings open from the inside. A young Omega with the brightest and coldest blue eyes I’ve ever seen stumbles straight into me. She’s moving quickly, as if trying to slip out unnoticed. She freezes when she recognizes who I am, her eyes locking with mine, a sudden, stark terror blooming in their depths. Her scent. It’s wrong. Cloying, like cheap perfume trying to mask something foul, something I can’t quite place, but it screams danger. And I can tell she’s not from Lunaris.

I softly chuckle as a young boy, probably only around 16 with bright red hair, scurries through the crowd while he waves his hands frantically above his head, trying to get our attention. The gathering has been a mix of good things along with a sprinkle of a few bad things and people just to keep us guessing. Not surprisingly, several packs have completely ignored us, because of the pack’s dislike and belief that omegas are a terrible mistake the Moon Goddess needs to resolve quickly. However, I’m rather proud to say most of the participants have been either neutral or even positive when finding out about omegas. Many even thought omegas were only a tale from the past.

She slowly opened the door and immediately her hands started to shake her heart stopped the moment her nose got a whiff of a scent she thought she had forgotten. “That smell! Why was he here?” She thought as she stepped further into the room where she saw a man standing with his back facing her, the smell of lavender and sandalwood completely engulfed her making Penelope feel numb and frozen still.
