When James reached at the entrance of the library, he felt the powerful smell of another wolf and the smell of Tabaco that was covering the smell of the wolf faintly, but still the smell was pretty easy to catch the attention. ANd when James open the door of the Library it was filled with smoke. Seeing the amount of smoke, it was clear that the old man was smoking for a while now. James enters and said while bowing down in front of the man, "Father, I did what you asked for. She is back and agreed to stay quiet and go as it is decided."

The thousands of pack members in the courtyard stood in stunned, absolute silence for three agonizing seconds, staring at the fallen Omega. Then, a single voice cheered, and within moments, the entire square erupted into a roaring, fanatical frenzy.

"What in the goddess has happened here?" he bellows out and thankfully Noah saves me from having to explain any more as he fills my dad in on everything whilst the doc checks Stacey. Hearing her call me fat brings my mind straight back to Jay but I muster all my strength to mask it, I won't let her see it. If not, then maybe somewhere down below, or above. In the meantime, I looked down, and then lifted my gaze. But I couldn't find anyone of them. I couldn't tell exactly if the voice came from behind. Or perhaps, from the side, or in front.

Looking up at her mate, who would make her or mar her, who she saw was terrible. She despised who she saw. It was no other person than Lucas Vincent! Did the goddess hate her too for being an omega? Or is the goddess punishing her for her past deeds? Lucas was shocked at what he saw—at whom the goddess had blessed him with. A mate. A worthless omega mate. Well, rejection was not so hard, is it?

The word ‘omega’ stared maliciously back at me, a title that I could never escape. How did whoever this is was know my identity? I threw on a hoodie, pants and my hiking boots on autopilot. Could they just be speculating?

I need to work out more. “What’s that smell, Caleb” Lucian asks as we begin to ascend the stairs. “What smell?” I ask. I don’t feel any smell whatsoever, he must be dreaming, maybe it’s all the liquor we had downstairs. But Wolves don’t get drunk easily, our system is always too strong for alcohol. “Wow! It’s spectacular, don’t you feel it?” he asks again, now his attention focused on another direction. Oh, No! he can’t go there, he will find the omega there. She might even be dead by now.
