Destruction of The Seelie Court
I haven't prayed to the moon goddess since Jasmine died, but tonight I make an exception; once Asher is asleep, I climb out of bed and walk to the window, look up at the moon, and whisper,
“Please keep my boy safe until I return.”
The moon's rays shine through the window and land on my son for a minute. I shake my head, whispering,
“You are a fucking idiot, Tyler; you are imagining shit.”
I return to the bed and place pillows on the side of the bed I am not sleeping in, then crawl beside my son. He wiggles when I pull him against my chest and breathe in his sweet scent; a little bit of his drool runs down my chest; I chuckle softly and fall asleep with my son wrapped securely in my arms. Th
