Goodnight Moon Novels & Stories

Luna was on a swing in the garden during the evening. The sky was dark blue, and the moon was really bright. No birds were making noise; everything was quiet. The moonlight made the garden look special. There was a gentle breeze, and the leaves moved a little. Luna felt peaceful as she swung, looking at the beautiful moonlight. She was reading her favorite book in a peaceful environment. Her fingers traced patterns in the air as her mind wandered through the pages of the book resting on her lap.

she cooed at the sleeping creature and drifted off to sleep beside it. The bowl suddenly clattered to the floor and Theresa jolted out of bed in alarm. She wiped a hand over her face to clear away the blurriness as she scanned the room for where the loud sound had issued from. The rain had stopped but it was late evening already and the candle had also burnt out, plunging the room into darkness. She groped her way in the dark, pulled out another candle from a corner and struck a match, but it went out. She groaned and was about striking another match when a bright light suddenly came on.

"Just get some pizzas. Oh, breadsticks and applesauce for Kas. Do you want anything else, Baby?" "A banana would be great. I'm really hungry." Bronx smiles. "Get the lady a banana, Milo!" I turn back to the book I'm reading. It is written in old English, so it's difficult to understand. I flip the page to find a beautiful hand-painted illustration. It is a depiction of the Moon Goddess. There's a man standing next to her that looks like a king. They are surrounded by children. She is holding a baby in her arms with gray hair and violet eyes. The title on the next page says 'Menae - Children of Selene'. No freaking way.

asked Davina. "It isn't coming tonight ." snapped Ada. "You never know ." said Davina . "I know because it isn't full moon tonight ." the words slipped out from Ada's mouth . It was too late when she realised she shouldn't have said what she said . ''What do you mean ? " asked Cynthia doubtedly . "I m..mean ..yeah that if Davina is giving this topic a magical edge .Most of these magical incidents happen during full moon you know ." stammered Ada still looking nervous .Davina and Cynthia still looked confused .

I curl into a ball on the bed, sighing as I sank onto the comfortable matrass. I pull my blankets to my neck in one quick, covering myself in there embrace. I was nearly asleep when the door swings open silently and light floods into the room. Groaning I push my face into the pillow, annoyed with whoever had opened the door.

With one quick movement of his hand, the lamp on the night stand was turned off and only the moonlight from the widow was showing. “Goodnight, Raven.” I smiled and shut my eyes completely, the overpowering tiredness about to take me along with its current. “Goodnight, Cassius.”

But she's unavailable to me even in battle. I sighed softly and collapsed in my tiny bed of hay in my cell, not the best idea if the horrifying thud was any indication, but I fell asleep right away so it didn't matter. In the morning, I was woken up with the announcement of visitors. I smiled as I sat up, scooting closer to the cells as all the young pups of the pack raced over with birthday cards, Moonwell cards, and Get better soon cards, all reading some version of 'we miss you' in children's handwriting. "Awe, you pups are the best. Did you all make these? Who paid for them?" I gathered the cards up and read each one happily. "Mr. Wells paid for them!" One of my pups yipped happily.

Even the bedding, the bed itself, and all the daily necessities had been blessed by the Moon Goddess during the full moon. Not only that, but Shane even arranged for an Omega named Leah Allen to take care of me. No one mentioned what had happened before I left. It was as if everything had returned to the way it once was. Shane and I were still the model couple of the pack. One day, I saw Shane kissing that Omega in the living room. That very night, my breathing turned chaotic. My emotions spiraled out of control, and my water broke early, and I gave birth to my daughter.

He smiled. After a long shower I head to bed in Liam’s room. He is still on the couch reading a book. Its not long before I am settled under the covers that I feel Liam lay down beside me. I don’t want to talk so I pretend to be asleep, within minutes he is snoring. *** I wake up to the moon shinning bright on my face. I don’t hear Liam snoring. I feel beside me and he is gone. I hear his footsteps heading down the hall and the front door creak open and then shut.
