One I was going to win. The cool air of the night brushed over my newly exposed skin, and goosebumps rose along the surface as I filled with excitement and anticipation. Goosebumps creep along my skin in real and his shirt drops down, right in between my legs. Crap!

He just tilted his head and sniffed the air near my hair. He smiled. He crouched down, his movements slow and deliberate, until he was level with me. He was so close I could feel the heat rolling off his skin. My body reacted instantly—a frantic, pulsing tingle that made the hair on my arms stand up. I felt goosebumps break out across my neck. My heart was slamming against my ribs, but it wasn't just terror anymore. There was something else. Something biological that I didn't have a name for.

Goosebumps. I felt goosebumps surfaced all over my body when he said something like this. Since the day I have come in contact with this guy, I know he is not the kind to mess around with. I have not known him for much long and even this was my first time talking to him but I can say by the kind of vibe he was emitting, he was the kind who would not hesitate to hurt people. I cleared my throat and tried to lighten up the conversation, “So, you are like my personal bodyguard?”

Goosebumps appear all over my body when he holds my arms and gently pulls me into his hold. We’re like a highschool couple on their first date. He wasn't playing. We spend the rest of the night watching horror movies and nothing else.

My nostrils flared, and my body visibly shuddered in reaction. A sudden chill spread over my skin, making goosebumps crawl across my flesh. Our fingers leave a thin wet trail across my skin, and I shiver. Next he moves our hands slowly from one side of my throat to the other. It's unlike anything I've ever felt before, that soft fizzle of dozens of little bubbles as they pop against my skin. Tiny beads of water dribble down my body, sliding beneath the fabric of my dress. The water was warm when I filled the sink, but now, and against my heated skin, it feels as cold as ice.
