His fingers have been tracing my face for at least the past 10 minutes. I felt him shift then suddenly his fingers were gone from my face. I mouthed back, which earned me the bird from her. I turned back in my seat and stared out the window. Truly though what really was that electric feeling, and no it wasn’t a shocking feeling like the one where you push your wet finger into a socket, but it was that chilling feeling that make goosebumps cloud your skin, and that feeling felt alien, but in a good way. I climbed slowly, careful not to slip a foot. I finally reached the bottom part after a few minutes of praying while climbing down. My hands and feet were shaking as I stepped on the ground. When I looked ahead, there was only one torch lighting the tunnel. I walked limply towards it while I held on to the wall to support myself. I wondered why they only lit one when they knew I’m coming. My heartbeat started to become unsteady. I suddenly feel a cold air around me. Why am I having goosebumps? I took the torch from the handle. It slipped through my hands when I suddenly saw a scary man who had brazen fangs and blood red eyes.

Goosebumps erupted all over her body. By now, Stella had turned around and saw Jaylene standing stiffly with the teapot in hand. Her eyes quickly assessed the situation and then she noticed the beetle crawling on Jaylene's neck. It was an unknown species, not overly tentacled but as long as a little finger, its mouthparts slightly twitching, genuinely alarming in appearance. Stella murmured, "It's so big." Jaylene couldn't see what was on her neck, unsure if it would bite or if it was venomous. She stood frozen in place, her voice trembling, "Keegan, what exactly is it? Please get it away, don't scare me."

It came from the door so I threw a glance over and meet a two pair of pretty eyes, moist and longing for something. My body turned stiffed like a stone when the woman of my age suddenly ran over and cage me for a hug. She sobbed as I, went struck from her sudden reaction. But I can't even think that much. Why do I felt small from the hug when from the looks of it, we only have the same height? A prickly feeling suddenly creeps on my skin and it was weird enough to keep my head straight. Goosebumps. I could feel the tiny hairs of my body stood like I was being electrified.

I smiled, grateful for the tranquility that enveloped our little haven on the outskirts of town. As I bustled around the kitchen, preparing a meal for Mauris's return, I felt a sudden prickling sensation at the back of my neck, as if someone was watching me. I dismissed it as a figment of my imagination and continued my culinary endeavors, trying to shake off the unease that lingered in the air.
