Kris breaks into a smile and holds his face. I shake my head in confusion. How could this be! Kris places one hand on my back and another one rubs all over my stomach. His hands feeling so warm again my skin. Tears fall down my face, stinging the corners of my eyes. For some reason deep down I felt like this was all a sick joke. Movement comes from inside my stomach again, but this time it comes from all over. A few jabs pushes against the side of my ribcage and another set of two comes kicking me right in the middle. Goosebumps align my body as my brain tried to register it all.

It still doesn't count as enough price for tricking me into coming over but let's say he paid off the interest I lock the door to my room and slump into bed "Finally I get to be alone after a six hour drive" I throw my backpack on the floor, and remove my sneakers, I lay in bed for a while then I get this feeling. The feeling of my skin crawling , I look to my arm and I see goosebumps.

I could feel the sudden heat, the tension snapping taut between us. I folded my arms, chin lifting. “There,” I said, voice trembling despite my effort to sound steady. “Happy?” He swallowed hard, eyes dragging over me. My skin razored with goosebumps , spreading fast across every inch his gaze traveled. He swallows hard and forced his eyes back to my face. His restraint looked painful, like it was taking everything in him not to close the distance between us. When I looked down, I could see his length hardening with each passing second. His fists were clenched so hard that his veins were out, running across his arms.

Goosebumps. I felt goosebumps surfaced all over my body when he said something like this. Since the day I have come in contact with this guy, I know he is not the kind to mess around with. I have not known him for much long and even this was my first time talking to him but I can say by the kind of vibe he was emitting, he was the kind who would not hesitate to hurt people. I cleared my throat and tried to lighten up the conversation, “So, you are like my personal bodyguard?”

My nostrils flared, and my body visibly shuddered in reaction. A sudden chill spread over my skin, making goosebumps crawl across my flesh. My body felt numb and heavy, my heart racing into panic mode in mortification at my body's reaction to him, and the obvious fact that he was aware of it. Damn the Ragnar Brothers for their scrumptiously good genes.

Our fingers leave a thin wet trail across my skin, and I shiver. Next he moves our hands slowly from one side of my throat to the other. It's unlike anything I've ever felt before, that soft fizzle of dozens of little bubbles as they pop against my skin. Tiny beads of water dribble down my body, sliding beneath the fabric of my dress. The water was warm when I filled the sink, but now, and against my heated skin, it feels as cold as ice. Calder dips his head and blows across my skin, and another wave of goose bumps ripples across my scalp.

Both my socks are torn on the knees but that's the least of my worries because I can hear footsteps approaching me. The footsteps draw nearer and nearest but I'm too scared to scream. All I'm doing now is moving backwards which is quite difficult considering I'm doing it whilst still sitting on the ground, I'm pretty sure I'm bruising my back. "P-please don't hurt m." I beg the silhouette that's drawing nearer and nearer. I still can't see but I can tell it's a man and I'm fearing for my life. "No need to fear." He says and I instantly pick up on the all too familiar british accent.

The ferals degenerated - completely gone. My whole body jitter as goosebumps appear on my skin. That feeling when you get excited gives off that jittery sensation in your body. With one move, I get to watch my mother be this powerful warrior kick ass against the ferals. I couldn't hold my excitement and cheer on, and then I remembered this was the deep part of my memory, and they couldn't see me. I'm just a spirit sidelining witnessing the whole thing. I kept on cheering.

All you could hear was the persistent chirping of crickets, setting an uneasy soundtrack, and the occasional slow croak of frogs hidden somewhere near the lake. But there was something else... Howling. Not loud, not close, but strange. Almost hypnotic. The sound drifted in from afar, moving through the darkness in soft, eerie waves. And there was something about the tone of it that stirred my entire body. Goosebumps prickled across my skin, like invisible fingers brushing over my arms, my neck, my back. I tried to be logical, to tell myself they were just animals in the distance. But my instincts were screaming otherwise. This was something else. Something unk
