LEXI'S POV Goosebumps crawled all over my skin because of a strange feeling I couldn’t quite understand. Chase’s face was so close to mine that I couldn’t move. I wanted to push him away, but my strength seemed to have left me. I lacked the courage to do anything at that moment. I was just frozen at where I am standing right now. I swallowed hard when he gently held my chin and turned my face to look at him. He was staring straight into my eyes.

He chose right anyway. All of a sudden, we started hearing howls and the fear got even worse for me. The hairs on my body stood like they sensed something and were about to attack. Anyone close to me would have noticed the goosebumps on my body as they were not making any effort to be hidden. The sound seemed to be coming from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I looked at Scott in fear and he looked right back at me. I wanted to disappear so badly. Mother's grip became tighter on me like she was trying to give me some extra boost by doing that and it gave me a bit of short-lived warmth.

How that scent smelt familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time was beyond me. It moved closer. Goosebumps pricked my skin as the soft tip of its sleek furs grazed my face. It was indeed a massive creature, obviously muscular and strong beneath those thick coats. It lowered its head to my forehead. My lips pursed. I refused to close my eyes this time and regarded it with suspicion. My hands fisted against the ground, hoping a fistful of dirt in its eyes could help me if it decided to devour me.

He panicked and promptly let go of my hand. When he says my name, it's like music to my ears. When he said my name, it seemed like someone had sprinkled chocolate into the music in my ears. I've never felt so happy hearing my name spoken by someone before. Why do I get goosebumps when I hear Ethan Woods mention my name? Oh my god, what a new emotion I'm experiencing. Did you notice he apologized to you? Hearing the word "sorry" from his mouth rather than my name thrilled my subconscious more.

You get the point~ right? Goosebumps cover my entire body. Something seems off and this is the worst feeling I have felt in a long time. The last time I felt like this was when I was left in an elevator by my mother. It was an accident and I was just eight years old when that happened. But now, this is more intense and worse. His low voice rumbles against my ear. It sends my mind reeling and the hairs on my body stand at attention. My skin prickles with goosebumps. Oh dear, I really am screwed!

Jay was gone. Jess tried to turn to run but was unable to pull her feet from the tar. She tried to dig out of it. The more she clawed at the substance the more took its place. Jess suddenly became aware of the thing standing over her. She could feel it breathing on her and she saw its giant claw like feet. Jess was to scared to look up but allowed her eyes to creep up inch by inch. She found herself staring into it's eyes. She let out a ear-piercing scream. “Gotcha pretty girl.” It snarled before opening its mouth and swallowing her whole.

Goosebumps spread all over my skin, that I pulled out his hair to stop him. "Why?" I winced. "I don't know. I don't feel like doing it now." Zed dropped his body by my side again. He turned me to the side, my back resting on his chest. His hand crawled again, but this time, it went directly to my clit, rubbing it hard. The goosebumps spreading into my body increased, creeping into my hair and soles. And soon, all my desire for sex disappeared.

My entire skin is dotted with goosebumps. Linc still has my hands held above my head. He is not letting go.
