An Illicit Obsession
He didn’t look surprised.
“Huh?” Tommen stepped forward closer to Killian. “You don’t seem surprised that it is me.”
Killian did nothing but look into his eyes with pure contempt. I felt numb as I watched, unable to move or breathe, as the tension in the room thickened and Tommen started pacing slowly across the length of the room, covering the base where the light was shaded over the cement floor.
“You know,” Tommen began and pulled a silver case out of his pocket, taking out a cigarette from it. I swallowed. “Killing your parents…” He pulled out a lighter and lit it, “…was never really personal,” he drawled and took a large puff of smoke.
