"The Violet Moonglow, one of the rarest healing crystals known to our kind. This remarkable specimen has been verified to significantly soothe an injured wolf's suffering." My heart stopped. Three months ago, during a particularly painful full moon, I had mentioned to Derek how much I wished for such a crystal. Echo, my wolf, had been struggling with each transformation since the injure.

Goyo took a deep breath before responding with a laugh, “You should direct these questions at your husband. After all, he boldly declared to handle the Alcide beings first before dealing with Xanthakos.” Thea turned to James and declared, “With my husband’s current strength, killing him should not be a problem.” Goyo lifted his head and burst into laughter, filled with scorn and derision. Thea was about to respond but was silenced by James’ gesture. After a brief pause, Goyo said solemnly, “Do you truly understand Xanthakos? Do you comprehend the kind of scourge he represents? Do you know the depths of his deceit and cruelty?” Thea and James exchanged glances, their silence profound.
