The Nightfang estate was a mausoleum of old money and older cruelty. It wasn't a home; it was a statement, a sprawling gothic monstrosity of black stone and sharp angles that clawed at the moonless sky. As our car crunched up the gravel drive, a deep, instinctual fear settled in my bones. This was a place where light went to die.

Dried up grass and broken tombstones cover the landscape from as far as the eye can see. The sound of the howling wind could easily be mistaken as the groans and moans of the dead that slumber below the dense soil. Bats screech as they fly past the pale moon that hides behind passing gray clouds. Their screeching adding to the already eerie atmosphere. "I think it's a vampire," Ri says as we walk along the dusty pathway of the graveyard. "What if it's dead people."

The sun cast a silvery glow over the graveyard, illuminating the rows of tombstones that stood like silent sentinels. Her paws made soft thuds against the damp earth, the sound muffled by the early-hour stillness. The scent of freshly cut flowers mingled with the earthy musk of the graveyard, creating a bittersweet fragrance that filled Lyra's senses. She weaved through the rows, her keen senses guiding her unerringly toward the spot she sought. Jada and Xander following closely behind her.

"The hysteria Northern graveyard? Yeah." Roman uttered with subtle pressure as he allowed himself to articulate despite the ache in his body. After he was furrowed off the carriage, his body collided with a tall hard tree. It didn't halt there, his body continued to rumble down the muddy sloppy soil, inducing his face into the sluggish dirt. Now, they were off their trail. "How did we get here?" The hysteria Northern cemetery was a no-go zone to all empires. Despite it being a graveyard, no typical body was buried inside. It was conveyed that the northern creature buries his prey there after feeding on them. So it constantly lurked around there.

Instead, I drifted away, gazing into the distance. I liked the cemetery's location. It overlooked a glittering lake—the same one where I used to stare at my reflection as a pup. Only Leo would think to bury me somewhere I would have loved. By the time they were too exhausted to continue fighting, they both lay on the ground, wounded, staring up at the moon. Leo bared his teeth at Ryan, panting heavily as if he wanted nothing more than to tear out his throat. "How dare you come to Tiana's grave?" he growled. "She just wanted to rest in peace, not be your possession even in death!"

“ Go on, pay your respects to your mother.” He did not have any intention of following after her in the graveyard since it was really small and open, one could see the tombstones sticking out of the land with ease. Levy stepped out of the car and then walked over to the graveyard with her hands clutching onto a small bouquet that had lilies tied in it. He stared at the small graveyard that was rather different from the one in their territory, the graveyard was so small that he was surprised that the witches in this community were not burying their loved ones in standing graves because it was so cramped that there were multiple mass graves.

He yanks me by one arm, pulling me with such force it actually hurts. "Ow! Stop!" I shout, but he puts his other hand over my mouth, walking me down the hill until I see the cemetery, the same familiar place I know very well. "Do you see that gravestone?" he growls, pointing in the direction of Zack's resting place. "Yeah. Why?" I say in my best bitch voice. He turns me around to face him, his hands tight on my shoulders. "Because you'll be buried next to him if you do not listen to me carefully!" His words feel like they're cutting into my flesh.

Czar teased him. Russell made a funny face and teased Czar. Everyone laughed at his funny antics. "Guys, how does it look?" Livi asked. She made a small graveyard with headstones and eerie-looking lights. Alesso and Carlos helped her to create the scary effect. Smoke is coming from one corner and a skeleton is half lying on one of the headstones with the name Bloody Mary written on it. One side of the driveway is decorated as a graveyard, while the mansion is decorated with spiderwebs and bats. Kairo is unfolding one of the spider webs to fix it near the entrance.

Graveyards are the final resting place for the dead. They are where the endless souls dance for eternity under a moonlit forever. The souls of the cemetery held onto Jeremy but didn't take him down into the land of Hades. He fought, and he held onto life just for me. Death is where the ravens swirl in their endless circles. Hunger finds them, and nails dig into their prey. We are all called by death in the end. The grim reaper himself holds his scythe and carries it along as a walking stick. Walking sticks are used to guide souls on the path to Hades. If I discover Hades, I will find my mom. I will find her there beneath the bones of her final breath.

It wasn’t what I was expecting, although it did kind of make sense. “Erm, isn’t that a graveyard?” I said. Ahead of us were dozens of unkempt and decrepit tombstones. Vines and weeds grew everywhere, creating weird looking silhouettes in the starlight. There were even a few crumbling statues. A boy blowing a horn and an angel with four wings. The others had formed into a tight knot of anxiety behind me.
