Gracewood Academy Novels & Stories

“We’ve got to get you settled before the welcome assembly. And trust me …you do not want to be late for Professor Thorne’s speech. She goes on for hours about ‘respecting the balance.’” As they pushed through the main doors, Maya felt the weight of the academy settle over her the smell of old books and magic, the sound of hundreds of voices speaking in hushed tones, the feeling that every corner held something she wasn’t supposed to see. She’d left her old life behind in the suburbs. But standing here, in the shadow of Mystic Grove Academy, she knew she was stepping into something that would change her forever. And somewhere in the crowd, Ryder Blackwood was watching.

The school's imposing façade loomed before them, its Gothic spires reaching toward the sky like skeletal fingers. As the car door opened, the head of school, Mrs. White, waited outside with a warm smile. When Amelia emerged, the teachers and staff rushed to greet her, bowing their heads in respect. "Mrs. Timberlake, welcome!" they chimed in unison. As Ava stepped out, they turned to her with equal fervor, bowing low. "Mrs. Richardson, welcome!" Ava's skeptical smile hinted at her discomfort with the excessive display of deference. Silverwood Academy was notorious for its corrupt and elitist culture. Teachers favored students whose parents wielded influence and wealth, providing preferential

She cursed softly under her breath, cheeks warming despite herself. “Fuck,” she muttered. “Get a grip.” Her wolf snickered lazily. “You’re blushing like an idiot.” “Shut up.” “You liked it.” Scarlet pressed her fingers to her face, groaning quietly. “I didn’t say I didn’t.” The academy gates came into view far too quickly. Blackwood Academy loomed the same as always…ancient stone walls veined with magic, iron gates carved with sigils meant to keep monsters in and idiots out. The place reeked of power, ambition, and barely restrained violence.

I declared, crossing my arms and glaring at her. "Well, I had to give it a shot," Grace replied with a comical scrunch of her face. "Wait, do you like like this guy now?" she inquired. "Yeah, I like like him. He's pretty awesome," I confessed with a cheesy smile as I scooped up another spoonful of ice cream. Grace's face shifted through a kaleidoscope of emotions in seconds before she finally nodded at me. “Listen to me, Rei. If you want Xavier Woods, you will have to take control of the situation. Wait until he's back from work, and then seduce him again. Show him that you're not afraid to go after what you want,” Grace said with fierce determination.

The maid left after telling her to call her through the call button installed beside the bed, in case she needed her. Grace took the laptop and started it. Her step mother and family may have trampled all over her throughout the years. But there was one thing that they did good. Enrolling her in a private school. Olivia didn't have a plan to let her study but with the fear of the society, she enrolled Grace in a private school. It was a different school from where Anna and Adam studied. There was a school where the children of all socialites and big shots studied, hers on the other hand had a mix of students from different classes of the society.

she added. Grace was a sweetheart, a 20years old, who worked as a day care teacher at Nate's school and his nanny after school. She was very hardworking and good with kids. Nate liked her too. She was always so cheerful and kind. And she has been of great help to her, looking after Nate. But it was weekend and even though she probably doesn't have any plans for the weekend...as Claire has come to learn that Grace was like her, an introvert...with barely any friends. Still, she shouldn't take advantage of her like that.

“I raised two pups singlehandedly. Jeff’s family didn’t want to know.” “Where are they now?” She shrugged. “I don’t know. My girls were at boarding school. I needed this job to keep up with the fees.” I felt compelled to hug her. “Don’t worry, I’ll do some digging,” I promised, holding up my cell phone. “What’s the establishment called?” “Graceberry Academy.” I’d vaguely heard of it by reputation only. It was high class and unlikely either to mistreat or leave its pupils in the lurch.

Their smiles held a hint of smugness, a detail not lost on Frederick. It turned out to be a partnered dance challenge! He recalled Priscilla mentioning Grace's past struggles with studying. Her family hoped to cultivate a skill for their daughter and sent her to a prestigious dance school. Grace had demonstrated a natural talent for dancing until a scandalous affair with a male teacher led to her expulsion.

The academy also prepared them for their future roles as Lunas. "Oh.. yes... I also met Grace. She said I can ask her anything if I need help." The moment Grace's name left her lips, I felt my shoulders tense. "Umm... good," I muttered. An awkward silence settled over the table. Father raised an eyebrow. "Are you two keeping in contact?" "No." I replied flatly. Grace was the daughter of the most powerful Alpha in the Summer Kingdom, second only to the King, my father. My father and Alpha Kael were close friends as well. So they had decided to turn that friendship into a family bond through marriage, the marriage between Grace and me.

Even the Greyhaven town was quiet that morning, the news of Henry at the Milan conference reached the town itself. The streets were still damp from the night’s rain, the old brick houses wore their faded paint with stubborn pride, and the whole place wet. And far away from the town, the Blackwood Academy stood like a memory carved in stone. Its ivy-clad walls whispered of generations of students who had walked through its halls, laughed in its classrooms, dreamed in its rooftops. It was here that Henry had once taken shelter, here that his mother Evelyn had found brief respite from the world’s cruelty, here that Principal Adrian had opened the doors to them without question.
