The Omega's Twin Hybrids

The Omega's Twin Hybrids

I turned a bit so my back drop would be the lobby and not the chaos going on further into the space. “Hello everyone. Some of you likely don’t know me, but I’m willing to bet you knew my father, Grover Astor. I’m Grace, the CEO now of AC, and I can only hope to live up to his high standards and his desire to have Astor Connects always succeed. But furthermore that it stays in the Astor family where it belongs.

Corruption

Corruption

Athena’s Sacred Tree Academy–or simply AST Academy to its students–was not only known for its silver-gray uniforms or the logo depicting a large, white owl with an olive branch on its beak but for its topnotch teaching and picturesque school buildings that the students and staff alike enjoy; popular and well-spoken despite the fact that it was still considered as one of the newest academy’s to be built in the country… it only goes to show just how well its reputation precedes itself. It was an international academy after all; and the academy welcomes anyone with a love for learning no matter what their race, their religion and socioeconomic status with open arms. The academy was beautiful an

GRACE ANSLEM

GRACE ANSLEM

Made simpler, she does not want to fall deeply in love. However, that dream never through. When she met him, he tore the corroded walls apart effortlessly and erected a four lettered tower on her world. The foundation was hinged on an unknown silent strength. It was so easy for him to plant a seed in her; a seed of love, but he never cared to nurture it neither was he there when it grew. How hurtful it is. Grace Anslem was the first child out of two. A graduate of psychology from Lagos State University. She is based in Abuja

Stolen Grace

Stolen Grace

Even the camera shutters stopped. Finally, the screen froze on an old file from the Appalachian Women in Business Scholarship Program. Name: Grace Walker. Birthplace: Red Creek, West Virginia. The photo attached was the same young woman outside the church. My grandmother. The real Grace Walker. The comments churned. [So the current Grace Hale is not Grace Walker?] [The letters are right there. He just said he rejected her.] [This isn't cheating. This is identity theft.] Henry pressed his lips into a thin line. His hand gripped the edge of the table. Sweat slid from his temple.

Desired by fate

Desired by fate

“I don’t know if this is really my style but…” “Trust me, Miss. You look stunning. It’s totally your style.” I smiled at her response. “I haven’t really seen you around here. What’s your name?” I inquired curiously. “Grace. My father works here. We go to the same school but you don’t seem to recognise me,” she replied. I furrowed my brows. I had never seen her before, nor had I noticed her. She was an omega as well but if she attended Blackthorn Academy, then she must be on the other side of the school. Not the part where the elites were.

THE MEET UP

THE MEET UP

Fifty-six months after her last classroom exam, Grace walks out of a doctor's office. Her stethoscope rested heavy around her neck that morning. Years pass before the last page gets written, kids underfoot. Then one morning, it just ends. There I am, tucked into a seat beside Amon, Emmanuel — eleven now — and David’s children. Tears don’t stop once during the event. From start to finish, they just keep coming. When Grace steps onto the stage, Peter yells out, “That’s Mama!”

The Grace of Leaving

The Grace of Leaving

I was busy with Shirley's career and working hard for our home. Not this time. I grabbed hold of it. I studied all the time. All those fuzzy formulas and theorems in my head got super clear. Machines were cold, logical, and always fair. One would get back exactly what one put in. It was not like people's hearts, which could neither be warmed nor figured out. When I got my college acceptance letter, I did not jump up and down with excitement. I just quietly read over the paper that said 'Centralford University Department of Mechanical Engineering' again and again.

Don't Go, I Regret

Don't Go, I Regret

A rustle interrupted her thoughts. A courier stepped into the circle of firelight. “Message from Ironclaw, Luna.” Grace accepted the letter, broke the seal, and read. Then smiled. Aldric glanced up from his own journal. “Good news?” Grace held it up. “The orphan academy is finished. They’re calling it ‘Johnson’s Haven.’” Aldric’s smile was soft. “He’d be proud.” Grace stared at the stars above. “No. He’d be running through those halls already.”

 Saving Grace

Saving Grace

"Sarah is in her final year and after that she would go to abroad for further studies. As for granny she wanted you to meet my so called family that's why we are living in Punjab for now. But I don't plan on staying there forever." "So we'll be shifting here." "Hmm. I can't remove Rehan from our lives as he is a part of our family and granny loves him as much as she loves me. Though he is a dick, I can't do anything but tolerate him because I don't want to hurt granny. But that doesn't mean you have to as well. I know how he is with you." He continued further, "Just a matter of time, once Sarah completes her final exams we will shift to Mumbai."

Gracie had always picked interest in Louisa's life ever since their first encounter, she felt like Louisa was heaven sent to Dwight's Academy. Dwight's Academy was a school of rich and merry, no one knew how it was to face a hard life, including Louisa. Infact Gracie saw Louisa as royalty with the way she was dropped off at school with variety of cars each day. But that wasn't the case for Gracie. Gracie was sweet, adorable and the last out of four kids the only issue she felt she had was that she wasn't an elite. She was on a scholarship here because her mother works as a librarian at the school. Her income was good but not still good enough to provide everything she wanted, so she focused

I am sobbing again. A total mess and I really do hope that once I finished the 3rd book I can finish with happy tears. I am happy with the characters you showed here. And though I was rooting and hoping for another couple I can understand why it did not work out.

I love the story and I'm actually feeling bad for Hunter but it's like a love hate thing with his character. Iris will never be happy with Mason or Dylan and Hunter will never be truly happy with Michelle.
