I ask, taking in his navy blue button-up shirt and black slacks. "Well, you see, Milo, I am not the one being initiated in as Alpha today; that's you, bud. Spenser kneeled in front of me and I took the sword, carefully placing it on either side of his head while announcing his new title. “Rise Grand duke of black valley.” I grinned as his eyes grew wide. Just like there had never been a queen, there had also never been a grand duke. The kingdom had seen all the other titles over the years, but never a grand duke.
