I’m Grandpa Barnes. It’s a shame we’re just meeting now, but I’m sure we’ll get along great.” Charlie smiled for him at last and went to grab one of his dinosaurs. He brought it over to show him, and Dad was surprisingly good with him.

The baby was blinking at the surroundings that seemed pretty foreign to her. “Grace, this is your great-grandmother. Would you like to greet her?” Mr. Hunt whispered in a soft and witty tone. Putting on a smile, the old man took the baby's hand. With teary eyes, he waved the tiny palm in the air. “Hello, Great-grandma! I'm Grace Evans, the daughter of Julian and Mia. I'm so happy to greet you today," the grandfather said, trying to imitate a child's voice. Unfortunately, sadness had clogged his throat so that his speech became hoarse and sounded pitiful. Evelyn noticed this small movement by Simon. She immediately ran over, looked at Simon's hand, and said, "Havyn, talk to Grandpa again." Havyn saw how shocked Evelyn was and seemed to have guessed something. He stepped on a chair and climbed onto Simon's bed. He lay down beside him and hugged his neck. "Grandpa, I miss you so much.
