Graphic Novel For 10 Year Old Novels & Stories

The Little Mermaid popped out at me, as did The Emperor's New Clothes, but I thought maybe a story that people are foolish in public wouldn’t be the best choice. Then I looked around some more and picked up Floca’s Moonshot: The Flight of Apollo 11, Lewis’s The Wolf, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and Dahl’s Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and a few others. I paused at the Harry Potter series, but while the girls were old enough, being werewolves, for the story, I knew the sizes of the books would put them off. Next year, I thought. They’d have handled textbooks by then and wouldn’t be so rapidly opposed to books an inch thick or more.

It was dark and creepy here in the woods at night, in our lycan town known as York-High. My mom and dad found me in my room reading my favorite novels made for kids and then, they decided I join them to come check the woods. Well, am just 8 years old, and according to our culture, a child below the age of 10 was banned from entering the woods, but when I reminded my Dad about that, he only smiled and promised to protect me, and so, I joined In.

She reached for a cart that had a note with her name on it, at the end of the book shelf and started putting on some comics inside. “Which do you think suits best for a five-year-old?” Sam looked up and saw the woman holding up two children’s book in front of her. The Mice of Greatness and Parrot Without a Home. She pondered for a while, knowing that she purchased both books and donated to a charity. “Parrots more suitable for a five-year-old,” Sam finally answered politely. “It has more pictures and the story is easy to understand. The other one is a great book as well but it’s better for ten years and up. Some words are too advance for young kids.”

Boys these days didn’t care much for cartoons anymore; they preferred superhero stories which—of course—always included some form of fighting.
