The Billionaire's Insignificant Wife

The Billionaire's Insignificant Wife

Hands searching for grip on the second shelf. Up one level. Then another. Three. Four. Five. Now he was high enough. His hand could reach The Little Prince. His fingers touched the book's spine with small triumph. But when he pulled the book out, there was resistance. The book was stuck between two other books packed tight. Junior pulled harder. The book came free suddenly. And the momentum made Junior lose his balance. He tried to grab the shelf to steady himself. But his hand slipped. His small body fell backward in horrifying slow motion.

It's abuse, after abuse, no justice, nothing. I just hope that this is NOT one of those stories with endless chapters. it's becoming boring! Beside they know that the husband is powerfull and capable of anything, THEY SHOULD THINK AHEAD!
Ashleigh Bell
Brilliant book. Captivating and heartbreaking. As a mother, it really hits the feels, as a woman it angers me so much, and as a human I just want it to end but in the best way. I highly recommend this book and I am looking forward to the conclusion

SHE PRINCE

SHE PRINCE

Unlocking the door of the cupboard which I stole from the teacher's room I examine the books which are arranged in. A smiles makes its way on my lips when my eyes catches the book which is larger than the others, I could see the papers have turned yellow and brown as most of them were popping out in the thick pages. Getting hold at the edge of the book with my index finger I try to pull it forward slowly making sure that other books doesn't fall over but due to the heaviness I couldn't. Grunting low I pull the book out without giving a thought, my movements pause and my eyes widens looking at the book which is about to loose it's balance, if it falls all the books in that row would collapse

The President's Mate

The President's Mate

he said softly, reaching out to pull the covers over us. But before I could speak, a loud SLAM echoed through the room. We both turned toward the sound. The heavy, leather-bound Book of Forgotten Truths had fallen from the counter where I’d left it, lying face down on the floor. I stood up, the midnight breeze from the open window hitting my naked skin. I walked toward the book, my heart racing. As I bent down to pick it up, I realised it had fallen open to a specific page.

Three Months of Mourning

Three Months of Mourning

She lowered her head and covered her face with both hands, her thin shoulders shaking gently. I did not stay any longer. I had said what needed saying and done what needed doing. My last connection to the Marlowe family was completely severed with the delivery of this money. Walking out of the care facility, the afternoon sunlight felt pleasant. I took a deep breath. The air smelled fresh and clean. I pulled out my phone and called my real estate agent. "Sam, that renovated studio I looked at last time. Yeah, the south-facing one with the balcony. I've decided. I'll take it.

THE GRAVE OF GREY AND GOLD

THE GRAVE OF GREY AND GOLD

CHAPTER 14 The Body Remembers What the Heart Forgets POV: Elara I leaned my forehead against the cool glass of the window. Looking in my reflection, I saw a charcoal sketch. With no colour at all to add to its touch, all angles very sharp, and hollow eyes. The "Human Rejection" was no longer a slow leak; it was a flood that was drowning me We had crossed the Northern Border. And for the first time in eight years, the air pressure changed. The thick, musky weight of the Crescent Pack’s territory thinned out, replaced by the sharp, biting cold of the mountain range.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

His armored elbow was pressing down on a glowing glyph that depicted a mouth swallowing a sun. "It looked like a cup holder!" Ben defended. RUMBLE. The floor shook. The circular chamber began to rotate. The walls groaned as the hexagonal alcoves shifted. "Gravity shift detected," Haley shouted, looking at her tablet. "The physics in here is changing!" The floor beneath them retracted. "Run!" Jack roared. Too late. The ground opened like the aperture of a camera lens. They fell. It wasn't a straight drop. They slid down a sleek, spiraling chute, tumbling through darkness. It felt like being flushed down a giant, industrial drain.

From Grave to Glory

From Grave to Glory

I, on the other hand, would walk toward the light and live life like I wanted. I rolled down the window, and winds came flowing in with the scent of flora. They also took away the last strand of Jackie's stench. That was the best ending ever.

After the Third Time

After the Third Time

I was about to hit the emergency call when my grip went weak, my phone clattered to the floor. Next thing I knew, I was out cold. Lost in a fog, I dreamt a bunch. I dreamt of Henry, regret all over his face, handing me divorce papers. I dreamt of him, our baby in his arms, cozying up with Melanie. Tears started streaming down my face, and they just would not stop. Through the blur, a warm hand kept soothing my forehead. A sip of cool water brought relief to my parched throat. Someone gave me medicine and wiped my sweaty brow with a damp cloth.

Meet my Overprotective Brothers

Meet my Overprotective Brothers

The geometry of the cottage was no longer a physical law; it was a dying suggestion. As the Southern Light-Binders hammered the exterior with pillars of concentrated noon, the dimensional fold of Rowena’s library began to leak. Shelves of dark mahogany groaned, twisting like scorched paper. Gravity became a chaotic, shifting thing, ink from shattered jars flowed upward toward the starlit ceiling, while heavy stone busts of long-dead Thorne kings drifted through the air like autumn leaves.

Maid To Be (Book Three)

Maid To Be (Book Three)

With my breaths getting even heavier, he went thrusting harder, hands, never letting go of my figure, and all that was to be heard were the sound of those soft breaths which emitted his lips, accompanied with the pour of my moans drifting into the room. It didn’t take long for our bodies to go burning with heat, hands wrapped around each other’s, and while he pushed in deeper, the sound of his breaths, slow, calming, rendered every comfort to my ears. His arms were secured tightly around my figure, eyes never letting go of mine. While those thrusts became faster, the sound of my moans, followed with desire and longing, accompanied with the sweet sound of satisfaction, went blasting into the
