“Given the events of the past week, do you really think it’s a good idea to open your drive-in with a horror show?” Skoger smiled slightly and turned to look at the trees that surrounded the back of the house. Yellow ironwood leaves fluttered and whispered in the wind and he nodded as if he were agreeing with them. “You know, my aunt always said the people in this country had a passion for fear. I believe that is still true. Fear is the first and most pure of man’s experiences. It nourishes us in a way. We come to crave it.

He hesitated. “But what?” “It’s through the haunted zone. My father refuses to let me go and the guards know it’s where I’m headed, so they keep cutting me off.” He bared his tiny white needle-teeth in frustration. “You aren’t afraid of the ghosts?” I asked. He patted his tiny hand against his chest. “Nyx Hura’nyx fears nobody and nothing, living or dead.” The ground began to shake. If this was the big one, flaming lava could come bursting through the walls at any moment.

She tells us about the ‘hamferð’ and Sylvana jokes how creepy and possibly even dangerous it is, but Tilda shakes her head. “The thing is… that people are generally not scared when they see someone in ‘hamferð’. They would never harm anyone, just bring a message about them either dying or having died, usually at sea. So instead of reacting with fear of seeing ghosts that haunt them, people react with grief. Not the horror of mere fantasy, but the real horror…the fear of losing someone you love.” She seems to ponder on her own words for a bit, looking sad as she appears to remember something.

That frightens me more than almost anything else on this island has. Not Girard. Girard was a specific dread, the dread of something that does not see you, the specific horror of a man who has built a thing in your shape and wants the thing. That dread has a category and the category is survival and survival I know. This does not have a category.

Boom! Dense spear shadows surged across the sky in an instant. Every shot would break the universe. It pierced through the void like countless hammers. Countless cracks appeared. In the blink of an eye, thousands of holes appeared in the entire world. Black flames gushed out of the holes. Woo. The terrifying sound of ghosts crying and gods howling immediately sounded. Under everyone's surprised gazes, gates with blood flowing out appeared one after another. These gates all carried the aura of death and cruelty, as if the evil ghost world had descended to the world and sent out an army.

" Grace reminded her. "Oh yeah, you'll go there with a broken foot," Ava said sarcastically and Grace agreed to her request in the end. Ava chose a horror movie but Grace was quite unsure about this because first, it was 5 in the morning which was a bad time to watch a horror movie, and second she was damn scared of these types of things. The movie stared and Ava was excited about it but Grace was covered in blankets. She screamed when the ghost appeared suddenly and scared Ava as well. She turned to look at her and found her trembling due to fear. She laid back and wrapped her arms around her.

I looked harder out the thick glass doors, peering through the rain. There was a faint silhouette of a little boy around eight running frantically around glancing up at the sky and into the shadows everywhere. I sprinted out the doors, the fat drops coming down on my uncovered head. “What’s wrong?” I stopped dead in my tracks. Sprinting around high in furious circles was a huge black shadow. Its deep red evil eyes shot through my soul and made me stagger back into the hard doors. It looked like a black ghost, but it had a ragged gray exterior that looked like pasty, dead skin covered in deep cuts.

But I’m thankful, they can still be friends even though they have broken up." "Friend?" Rhea looked at Yara, while Yara looked back at her Mama as if sending a message for her mama to cover up her true relationship with Adam. But it seems that Yara has to learn again from this telepathic because her mama doesn't catch the message she sent in silence at all. "What best friend? Adam is her ex she is the most hated. She said it was because Adam was telling her when they broke up, now she never got a serious boyfriend.
