"Yes, I've read about the Battle of the Kingdoms." "The Great Warrior's creed was that he would rather fail everyone in the world than to let everyone in the world fail him. Also, he has always been a person who knows his mistakes, and rectifies them, but never admits them. That was the way that made him great. Eevonne, as ordinary people, we can't be like him who thinks about the world and never bothers with trivial matters. However, we also have to be like him and love ourselves."

The moment he disappeared into the crowd, whispers began spreading through the hall. “It's unbelievable that a woman is stronger than a man.” “How is she that strong?” “She has the strength of a man.” “Maybe she's just naturally gifted.” Have they lost it? Before the murmurs could grow louder, Logan's voice thundered across the hall. “Quiet!” The entire room fell silent. Logan looked around at the warriors, his expression stern. “Since when did strength have a gender?” No one answered. “A warrior is not judged by whether they are male or female. We judge warriors by their discipline, their ability, their courage, and their performance in battle.”

Confident. Aria froze. Something about the approaching presence felt wrong. Dangerous. Ancient. The crowd parted. A massive warrior stepped into view. He towered over everyone around him. Nearly seven feet tall. Broad shoulders. Scarred face. Armor black as midnight. His eyes glowed crimson beneath the firelight. Not natural. Not normal. Predatory. Selene immediately snarled. That one is different. The giant warrior smiled. Not kindly. Not warmly. Like a predator spotting wounded prey.

Hearing Gavin’s footsteps and the bathroom door fling open I didn't bother to look up when the shower door opened. “What the fuck is going on, woman?!” He demanded sternly and I glanced up at him. The look in my eyes made his temperament grow soft and turn to concern. “I'm a failure and a shitty warrior,” I muttered sullenly, causing him to kneel down to my level. Reaching out he cupped my face and turned me to look at him. “Athena Blackstone, you're the best female warrior that I have ever known, but there's always someone better, and that doesn't make you any less remarkable,” he said compassionately.

Erriene said in that soft but firm voice of his that always made Alarick’s crotch give a twitch. Kill him, a mocking voice said in his head, He disrespected you. He took the sword and dragged his finger on the carvings. It was Maudinian. ‘Dir ylemi er zi nie rata cogadh anns treubh.’ (There is no war in the tribe.) A quote from a frost giant’s legend, about a great frost giant warlord and his weaknesses, his people, his family and his enemies. There was one special sword for each one of them.

He takes a moment to gather himself before turning his attention back to me. "OK, let's do this!" This is the reason the guy is one of my top warriors and one of my best friends, and if I didn't have my brothers he would most defiantly be a higher-ranking wolf, and that's not because he's one of my best friends, but because he is one incredible fighter, fiercely loyal and holds incredible morals.

“Chief Commander Draco Lang?! The chief commander of the War Dragon Squad?!” “Then, the one beside him… Could it be…” The six men looked at Kaze. They were veterans who once served in the army, so after learning Draco’s true identity, they realized who Kaze really was. Thump! The six of them knelt in front of Kaze. Even though the broken arm put them in excruciating pain, they insisted on kneeling. They looked at Kaze with reverence and eagerness. Kaze was the legendary God of War—the living legend in every veteran’s heart, the warrior who had never lost a battle!

“Because from this day forward, they’ll see you as what you are.” “What’s that?” “My Luna. Their Luna.” I hesitated, then smiled against his shirt. “Then you better start preparing them. Because I’m not exactly the soft, smiling kind of leader.” He pulled back just enough to tilt my chin up. “Good. Because I didn’t fall in love with soft and smiling. I fell in love with a warrior.” “A blind warrior.” “A warrior who sees more than anyone else.” I bit my lip. “You’re going to make me cry.”
