His Rejected Warrior Luna
Hearing Gavin’s footsteps and the bathroom door fling open I didn't bother to look up when the shower door opened.
“What the fuck is going on, woman?!” He demanded sternly and I glanced up at him.
The look in my eyes made his temperament grow soft and turn to concern.
“I'm a failure and a shitty warrior,” I muttered sullenly, causing him to kneel down to my level.
Reaching out he cupped my face and turned me to look at him.
“Athena Blackstone, you're the best female warrior that I have ever known, but there's always someone better, and that doesn't make you any less remarkable,” he said compassionately.
