Stupid enough not to understand what he was trying to do? He’s trying to harm or steal money from our Pack! Given that he has its financial records for the past ten years and its every piece of information, I just knew Wade wasn’t here for something good. But what I cannot understand is how can he do this? Our Pack is already poor and suffering. My hands began to shake, not with fear or anxiety. But rather anger. The papers I was holding slip out of my hand as I got into deeper thinking. What they say is true. A business man and Alpha like Wade would always be greedy for power and money no matter how rich, successful and power he had become.

And it's true, Veto is the living proof of that. I witnessed him turning from a loyal and humble dog to a greedy and sly fox. I had saw it with my own two eyes how he had killed the King Lycaon. How his eyes were filled of greed, envy and hatred as he strike the late king with his swords and how his mouth moves upward when he saw King Lycaon bleeding in his feet. That's how people can easily change the moment they give in to their greed. The Gods are right. Greed is power.

The want of power is the principle driving force of evil, and it applies in every area of life. Even the mundanes had their own fair share of power struggles, with exceptional crime rates rising each time elections drew near, and it has always been a thing of pity that the poor masses could never fathom that these crimes against them were in one or the other, whether directly or indirectly, originally orchestrated by the very people campaigning to be elected into different public offices, and like sheep with a shepherd, they blindly vote them into office, giving them the right to do the unthinkable under the protection of the law.

"How did he wake up? Curses!" He growled, his face twisted with frustration and anger. "Didn't the doctors say there was barely any hope? Those so-called specialists are all useless!" His original plan had been flawless! He would use Nina and the child in her stomach to secure the inheritance on Hugh's side first, then use the excuse of handling both families to slowly take over Hugh's assets. But now, Hugh had not only woken up, but his return in such a dominant way also meant that all of Shawn's plans had become useless!

I guess the world is still enjoying while watching our show while eating some popcorns as we become so stupid and useless. People can be so greedy when they got interested in a certain thing that no one knows about and that's because of power. I guess their president knows they can use it to gain the power that they want to have. He doesn't want to just rule a country, rather he wants to have the whole world kneeling in front of him and only that can satisfy his greedy soul.

Even more so because it has been the same from days of yore. I feel pitiful because greed has always been their downfall as well. That dates back to those who passed before them. So, I pity their lack of either foresight or hindsight. It is as if they never learn that it is an unattainable and lofty goal. No one can attain such tremendous power and wealth and still hold on to their humanity. Wealth and power only corrode the conscience and corrupt the mind. But hey, who am I to worry over that? It is not my duty to exonerate these lowly, power-hungry creatures. My duty is to exploit their desires and get them to do my bidding.

The others in the tent more frustrated than he was! "What else except the fact that the royal army is after you like the hunter dogs? Sniffling around all the time! " the chief, the leader of his supporters spoke. The frustration grew but what grew more was his thirst of power....now that he was chased like a wild pig in a forest, his want to rech to that throne had increased like never before.

he added in a very long litany. Everything was clear now. So greed was the caused of all these tragic events happened to us--the selfish desire to have more of something. The one that gods worshipped as ‘The Only One’ was the root of all evil. If he’s that immensely powerful, then why it was necessary for him to take the soul of children just to increase his power even more? That was way too greedy. Mammon was right. Greed is the mother of all evil.

“So is there any way you can defeat Greedius?” “Greed is a very scary thing. Because of greed, people are born jealous and selfish. They are willing to kill their own kind to be immortal, to become the strongest. That has always been the law of life. However, there are exceptions to everything in this world. If people overcome greed, greed will not exist. If in the middle of greed put a fruit, the power of greed will become meaningless. In love, there is no more or less, only enough.” Aubrey bragged.
