“I kept remembering it, I even thought about naming my child Hades someday.” His sharp inhale made me falter, but I continued anyway, lost in my own fascination. “I mean, in Greek mythology, Hades is always compared to the devil because he ruled the underworld, but I never saw him that way. Out of all the gods, he felt the most… honest. He was true to himself, even if people hated him for it. And despite everything, he still won the love of kind Persephone. I’ve always admired that part.” I laughed softly again, shaking my head. “I don’t know. Maybe it’s weird, but I kind of love that name.”

"You were only employed two days ago and you've already begun snooping around?" "I got lost." "Huh. You got lost and found your way here, then you decided that you could get some information to your flash drive?" "That's not my drive. I was only looking through the paintings on the wall and I panicked when I heard you come in." "Huh." He licks the inside of his cheeks. "You know something Kota? I hope you don't mind me calling you Kota." "I don't mind at all." He nods. "Lying is an art in the underworld. Your life depends on how well you're able to sell a lie. Zeus with amusement and Hera with contempt. It was a normal day in the life of the gods. They all gathered together for a celebration. It wasn’t a special occasion. Zeus just wanted to gather all his immortal children together along with his brothers. Poseidon being the youngest of the three was the first one to show up on Olympus with his trident. The other gods and goddesses began to appear. The last to show were the Fates and Hades. Hades had a scowl on his face. This unnecessary party was something he hated having to be apart of.

The introductions came to an end a few minutes ago and Gaia led her back to their table where they were already drinking and chatting. All their names were of ancient gods and goddesses from the mythologies of various countries. Neith tried to recite the names again, but she finally couldn't stand the unwavering gaze of the man opposite him. She remembered him as Hades. She looked up and Hades was indeed staring at her. Neith felt self-conscious and uncomfortable. "Hi." Neith started while looking at Hades. Her greeting got everyone else's attention except Hades'. Jupiter nudged him and he finally realized he was staring too hard and that Neith was speaking to him. His smile widened.

Hades–God of the Underworld, King of Hell, Lord of the Dead; the adjudicator of souls, father of shadows and the wealthiest of the gods–had lived since the fall of the elder gods, the Titans, since the dawn of humanity and he does not take surprises lightly. Not many may have known but the eldest Olympian God actually possessed the rare gift of foresight regarding the fates of those who are about to be brought forth to his realm, those who are already dying, how and when will they die.

Her essence flowed within his blood. And just like how he would not hesitate to burn down into ashes in her love... He wouldn't hesitate to burn anyone who touches her... Leaving no blood, no bones behind... But only Ashes. Ashes to mixed with the dirt. . His fondness was different from others. His love was hidden in his chest. His thirst was drowning in his mind. His desire was leashed with his soul that all needed HIS PERSEPHONE. . He was The HADES. .

“That actually might be a better idea.” “Who is that?” Caleb asked. “Achilles was a hero in the Trojan War, but now he works for Hades in Tartarus.” I answered since I realized there was a lot about the Gods that Caleb didn’t know. When I looked into my connection with the Gods, most of it had been after Caleb disappeared. I made a mental note to discuss the history of the Greek Gods with Caleb when we weren’t trying to escape death. “If he is working for Hades, what makes you think he will go against Hades and help us take the Scepter?” Caleb’s brow furrowed.

He painted a beautiful grin that was far too angelic for what everyone imagined him to be—an infernal apprentice of the God of the Underworld. Even after losing his divine attributes, Hades was able to restore certain important people from his previous life, one of whom is Thanatos. Despite the fact that he treated him as a friend, Thanatos remains grateful to Hades' family, particularly his mother Rheis, for saving him from the slumps.

I look down at the book and start reading about this forbidden god. — The forbidden god, like many other gods, had many names. Many knew him as Hades, many knew him as the brother of Zeus, but he always represented the worship of the moon and the changes it can bring. He represents the darkness in the corners of the earth, the darkness that is always treated as evil when it is just misunderstood. The forbidden god has already been exiled for his many, many crimes. I pause at that point and look up. "What crimes has he committed?"

I asked with a small smile. I was finally getting what was happening. Hades had four aspects. Four parts of him that he could choose to divide I to if he wanted. They were arrogance, lies, apathy and hedonism. This were major characters Hades possessed, and they were all here now. "And why are my other mates quiet? This isn't our first meeting" I added, referring to the other three. I was guessing the first one was arrogance, he did behave it. Full of himself and proud.
