Waktu kecil, Amber diculik dan disekap hingga mengalami trauma. Dia mengalami pobia di ruang gelap dan sempit, suaranya tak lagi terdengar dan dia menjadi bisu. Saat dewasa, dia tumbuh dalam penghinaan dan selalu direndahkan. Untuk menutupi aib keluarga karena kekurangannya, dia dipaksa menikah dengan seorang pria bernama Christhoper.  Amber terkejut ketika tahu jika pria itu ternyata adalah cinta pertamanya, anak laki-laki yang pernah diculik bersamanya dan berjanji akan melindunginya, tapi Christhoper tidak mengenalinya. Setelah menikah, bukan kebahagiaan yang dia rasakan tapi siksaan dan pelecehan dari suaminya. Christhoper yang sudah memiliki kekasih, terpaksa menerima pernikahan tersebut karena desakan orang tuanya yang berhutang budi pada keluarga Amber.
