The Path Less Traveled

The Path Less Traveled

Zeus was the oldest, then Ares and finally Eros. Yes I know we are all named after Greek and Roman gods and goddess. My mother had an obsession with Greek and Roman mythology. I had actually got that obsession from my mother and the first place I was headed on my adventure was Greece. But more about that later. Right now my ass was about to be lit on fire and I frankly didn't give 2 shits. "VENUS MA...." My mom started to scream until she was interrupted by my brother Zeus. "Whoa there little sister what crawled up your ass and died?" He laughed when he heard my tantrum.

The Unwanted Luna

The Unwanted Luna

To hear Hades state that Khaos was powerful enough to bypass them means that no one can stand against her and win. Hades scoffs, as if what I said was ridiculous. “Don’t you know anything about the primordial deities?” I shake my head no. He exhales sharply. “Let me educate you then. Sometimes I forget you’re a newbie goddess.” He takes a breath and continues, “The primordial deities were the very first beings born into existence. They are the first race of gods and goddesses. They were astronomical entities, their forms elemental and cosmic, long before they figured out how to shape themselves into physical beings. There are eight of them: Khaos, Gaia, Erebus, Nyx, Tartarus, Hemera, Chronos

That feeling of not wanting it to end. Finally, I love the writing style, how descriptive the author is with her words, and how well she explains the werewolf terms. This is especially good for readers trying to understand the werewolf world. Not forgetting the emotions,I love it. Love you, Author!

I just started reading this book as I love the authors other book I was reading. However….Am I missing something? It just seems like between chapter 3 and chapter 4 maybe a chapter or two are missing. There is a huge jump in the story.

Legendary Goddess

Legendary Goddess

Then suddenly I remembered what my father said when he gave me the sword. "My dear, always remember that this sword is special because it came from the Greek god Ares who is the God Of War. He made this sword himself" father said "But father, it looks like an ordinary sword. How can it be special aside from the God of War Ares is the one who gave and made it?" I asked "Just concentrate and think about what you want and it will be the thing you wanted it to become," father answered Right! That's it! Now I understand that! I immediately raised my sword and closed my eyes and concentrated.

Taming The Wild Alpha

Taming The Wild Alpha

“What do you mean that his name would have been a huge giveaway?” Ryker let go of my hand as he opened the door and held it for me. I got inside and looked up at him, waiting for his answer to my question. “In Greek mythology, Erebus or Erebos is the personification of darkness and one of the primordial deities. The pack was led by a dickhead who wants every member of his pack named after Greek gods or goddesses or at least have their name mean something in Greek.” Ryker rolled his eyes, clearly finding this to be ridiculous. “Other than that he also has every member of his pack whose surname does not start with the letter A change their surnames. And just now you told me that your friend’s

Ordinarily, I'd rate the current prob 1 star, but I don't think it's the author's fault & A.R. has tried to alert readers. DO NOT pur ch. 41 or 42. Ch 41 is repeated with same material 3x. Ch. 42 is the repeat of ch. 41 & costs 173 coins. Nvr place yr acct on auto-subscribe, bc of probs like this.

Blood and Moon: Araya

Blood and Moon: Araya

“The story of your ancestors is not an easy one to tell. You know some of it. The pain they suffered those many years ago in the beginning, the curse inflicted upon them, but the real problems happened around the time right before their powers were bound. Antoinette entrusted me with her story, so I will tell you everything I know. But first, tell me, what do you know about the gods of old?” “Uh nothing. I don’t think I believe in the same God as you and everyone else around here.” She shook her head knowingly. “So in order for you to understand the Zoldeck history, you must first learn about the gods. There are many, but two in particular are of importance for this story; the sun god, Helio

Auden’s Blessing

Auden’s Blessing

If I felt no guilt at all about how things had turned out, then I truly would have been a terrible person. Still, amid her emotional rambling—her guard lowered whenever she became agitated—I managed to piece together fragments of information. I had already suspected that anything treated so seriously by those battlefield vanguard figures must relate to the rivalry with the Aesir and perhaps even involve the Twelve High Gods, so that part did not surprise me. What did surprise me… was their plan. And to understand it, one must begin with the origin of the world itself. In the beginning, the world consisted only of two realms—one of cold and one of heat—separated by the vast and bottomless Gin

The Un-Stereotypical Life of A Prince and A Heiress

The Un-Stereotypical Life of A Prince and A Heiress

"Be careful, Ria." Cryx and I, and the others have our own codes basing on Greek and Roman Mythology. Right now, I based it on the glory of Greece, the Illiad by Homer. The Battle between the Acaeans (Greeks) and the Trojans. During their conquer of Chryse, a town allied with Troy, the Greeks captured Chryseis and Briseis. Agamemnon took Chryseis as his crowning glory while Achilles took Briseis. When Chryseis' father learned of this, he offered a magnanimous sacrifice to the god Apollo for his daughter's safe return. Agamemnon then conspired to take Briseis away from Achilles and offer her as remuneration. This will allow Cryx to decipher that there is danger nearby and they plan to take Br

In The Arms of Morpheus

In The Arms of Morpheus

My father’s eyebrow shot up in a horrified expression, his mouth twisting in disappointment. “Now, Callista. I know that all of these movies now days focus on Zeus and the Olympian gods and goddesses but you cannot tell me that you never paid any attention when I spoke to you and your brother about the other aspects of mythology. Greek mythology doesn’t revolve around the titans versus the Olympians.” my father’s voice went into his lecturing tone and I had to force myself not to zone out like I did under the usual circumstances. “I’m sorry I didn’t pay attention Baba, I truly am. Please can you teach me about Morpheus?”

she dragged out. "Well the weeks before that, we spent time talking about the history of the Roman and the comparison between the greek and the Roman world." He paused letting that sink in. "Now according to the common myths and all that jazz, the world started with the titan who ate his children so no one could do to him what he did to his father and I'm guessing you also know Zeus ate his father and became the king of the gods and all that, yeah?" He paused again, not looking at her, fighiting the growing urge to glance up at those dark grey orbs.

Master of Justice, Slave to Desire

Master of Justice, Slave to Desire

“But she’s had a long day and requires a meal and rest. Will you inform Nyx and Erebus to have a chamber ready for her and some food, please?” Nyx? Erebus? I knew those names! They were both children of Chaos, a being of reality outside the ordered cosmos, and according to Greek mythology, Chaos was the first being to exist. Any children of his were considered primordial gods and goddesses, meaning they were more like a concept or idea. Like Nyx and Erebus...
