Masked Desire

Masked Desire

His eyes turn silver, glowing with predatory light. A lycan. Ivan is a lycan. The realization hits me like a thunderbolt. Lycans are supposed to be extinct. I knew Ivan was from the Russian Wolves, the deadliest and most dangerous, but I never knew he was a Lycan. They're the original werewolf bloodline, the first children of the moon. Stronger, faster, and more savage than any normal werewolf. And I just betrayed the person he was trying to protect. "Where is he?" Ivan's voice is a roar now, inhuman and terrifying. "What did you do to Jason?"

Algernon cautioned, and she responded with a solemn nod, fully attentive. "Thousands of years ago, Lycans were known as werewolves. They could only shift into their wolf form under the full moon. However, Lycaon, the great and mighty Lycan King, became the first werewolf to shift into his wolf form under the sun, without needing a full moon. This granted him greater power, strength, and agility than any other werewolf. He used this newfound power to lead his kind to victory and free them from enslavement during the Full Moon Liberation.

Alessandro said, and as if he knew I was going to ask a question, he warned me, “I can't talk about other supernatural species, only my own.” I looked at him with a frown. “Then tell me about werewolves,” I asked respectfully. “Werewolves were originated by the Luna goddess,” Alessandro said, and I frowned. “In Greek culture she goes by the name Selene, but in our mythology, she is Luna, the young daughter of the goddess Diana, the mistress of the hunt and nature. Our origin goes back long before ancient Rome, when the gods dwelt in our lands in silence.” I paused in awe.

“Yes. Many of the true stories of the werewolves were turned into stories of the gods by the Greeks and Romans.” Lyle and Amaris looked at each other. This was an amazing find. It had been hidden away from the world like so many other things in order to protect and keep hidden the exhistance of werewolves. “Follow me. The Oracle is not able to see you at the moment, she is in meditation, but we will get you a room to be able to freshen up before your audience.” Christos led them down the rest of the hallway and to a door darkened by time. Once through the door Christos had to push through a b;ack curtain and out into an exquisite room that looked like something out of a Greek fresco.

Wild Love

Wild Love

"The werewolf is a legendary creature that has been the topic of numerous legends and numerous nightmares throughout history. According to certain myths, werewolves are people who can transform into ferocious, strong wolves. Others are a mutant hybrid of human and wolf. Nonetheless, they are all ferocious beasts with an insatiable appetite for human and animal blood. We are werewolves, and some of us, Witches, like Grandma Camille. The exact beginnings of the werewolf mythology are unknown. According to some academics, the werewolf first appeared in The Epic of Gilgamesh, the oldest piece of Western literature, when Gilgamesh rejected a potential suitor because she had transformed her former

I tell her about my nightmare, and she listens attentively, nodding along as I recount the details. “I had a dream where I saw a great king named Actaeon, who ruled the land of Arcadia and had many followers. He had everything one could ask for, except for love. One day, while on a hunt in the forest, he came across a beautiful lady named Adrastea singing by a lake. He was instantly smitten by her beauty and vowed to make her his wife, but Zeus, her father, had to approve of the match. Actaeon went to great lengths to impress Zeus, but he failed miserably. In a fit of anger, Actaeon served Zeus a meal of human flesh, which infuriated him. As punishment, Zeus cursed Actaeon, turning him into

“I don’t know if you are aware of the intricacies of the background of your species. I have spent the last few days learning about the werewolf. I am assuming your mother knew, though, giving you your name and all.” “The wolves are the creation of Selene, the Greek Moon Goddess. But did you know that the gods and goddesses are the same deity, but they have different names in different cultures? For example, the ancient Romans’ name for Selene is Luna. And the Egyptians call her Isis.”

The Witch & The Full-blooded Lycan Prince

My kind was created solely for battle, not compassion, not empathy, and definitely not love. Offsprings of Gala call us Lycans, a half-human half-beast. Some believe we were the first generation of Werewolves cursed by Zeus for trying to trick him into turning into a cannibal. Others believe that we were direct descendants of Selene, the goddess of the moon, the granddaughter of the primordial parents, Gala (mother earth) and Uranus (father sky).

Ignoring that fact, she began, “Lykaon pissed Zeus off. Zeus sought revenge in his usual brute way by killing all of Lykaon’s sons but one, and turning Lykaon into a wolf. Nyktimos was Lykaon’s youngest son and had been saved from Zeus’s wrath by Gaia, who hid him in the river. She should have been smart enough to hide him from Lykaon, who was now bitter and still irritated at having lost his reign as king of Arcadia and was now relegated to walking around on all fours howling at the moon.” Elaina paused when she noticed how intently he was staring at her and noticed the quick warmth spreading throughout her body as a result.

Samantha chuckled. "Seriously ?" I pouted. "Just kidding," Samantha laughed. "We have a legend of our creation. Our kind was cursed by Zeus. He cursed king Lycaon and his sons to turn into the first werewolves. Goddess Luna pitied us, she blessed us to become a perfect blending of animal and human, having dual character but existing in harmony in one body and a single soul. Each pack was given an Alpha who would lead on behalf of Luna. Believing that we would be able to exist in peace together, she left the Alphas to rule as they saw fit. Soon enough, petty jealousy and power struggles ensued. Peace was finally shattered when we allowed our animal sides to take charge and began raiding, pill

I loved this book. Just wanted to see them have babies and see where that would take the story. She's a powerful wolf so I assume someone else is gonna want to get her or have pups with her. Waiting for a follow up.

How is this book completed here with 60 something chapters, when it’s on another app with 100 something chapters and says it’s completed there? Yet if you go to the comments on there you find out that there’s actually 10 chapters left off. No I’ve not read this book, just asking a question.
