“Alright, you win. Maybe I’m a little predictable.” “Not predictable.” Sienna leaned forward. “Reliable. It’s different.” “You make me want to be better, Sienna.” Enzo said softly. “That’s not something I’m used to.” The mood shifts as Enzo stood and walked to the balcony. Sienna follows, the cool night air brushed against her skin. The city lights twinkled in the distance, a stark contrast to the dark world they inhabit. Sienna stood beside him. “It’s beautiful out here.”

Isolde brushed away the crumbs from his mouth with such care. The two of them looked so close, like they were in their own little world where no one else could step in. I tried to ignore the twist in my stomach and was about to walk away when a bunch of assassins in black jumped out of nowhere. I stepped back, asking them, "Who are you guys? What do you want?" The assassins looked at each other and then ran straight for me. Their hands gripped weapons with dark, poisoned blades—the same deadly poison that had hurt my dad!

"We've sacrificed so much, faced every challenge you've thrown at us. We won't back down now." With a sinister smile, Nyxos responded, "We shall see." And with that, the grove began to change, shifting into a nightmarish realm. Our deepest fears and insecurities manifested, and we braced ourselves for the most daunting battle yet. The air grew dense, and a chilling wind swept through the transformed grove. Around us, the trees twisted and contorted, their once-silver leaves turning a deep shade of crimson. Shadows danced menacingly, each taking a form that struck a chord deep within our hearts.

I'll add Cerulean for her blush. A combination of Burnt Sienna, Terra Rosa, Viridian and White would be perfect for her contours, this would give justice to the height of her cheek bones, emphasizing every edge, each soft curve. For her beautiful wavy hair, Transparent Oxide Red, Viridian, White and Tera Rosa, which will present the waves and the silk elegantly. I inhaled the scent of paint and the wet canvas, and I imagined Candice to be a girl who loves lavender and so I mixed the pigments Rose and Ultramarine Blue for the background which created a perfect soft purple, like lavender.

“I saved my brother. I stopped the harvest.” ​“And you did a fine job of it,” Cassian said, a small, sad smile playing on his translucent lips. “But look at the horizon, Weaver. Look past the scrap heaps. Look past the mountains of the North where we once played as children.” ​I looked. In the far distance, where the sky met the jagged peaks of the Obsidian Grove, a new light was rising. It was not the gold of the sun or the silver of the moon. It was a sickly, pulsing green, like the glow of a rotting swamp or the bile of a dying beast. It was spreading across the horizon like an ink blot on parchment.

From the center of the mist, a figure stepped forward. She was wearing a gown of grey silk that seemed to be made of falling ash. Her hair was no longer gold; it was a pale, dead silver, and her eyes were empty sockets filled with swirling grey dust. She held the Shadow-Shard of the Mother-Lode, but it was no longer black. It was the color of a cataract.

I didn’t take my eyes off Lex. “Talk,” I said. Lex exhaled slowly, almost like he was bored. “Ghostshade grows in two nearly identical strains. One heals. One accelerates blood corruption. The difference is in the root coloration after harvest.” Maeve froze. “That’s not in any known record.” “No,” Lex agreed calmly. “Because most healers die before they can record it.” Silence hit the room like a physical force and my wolf surged hard beneath my skin, pressing against control I was barely maintaining.

Zane's Point Of View The car rolled to a smooth stop at the entrance of Blackthorn Forest, and I pressed my face against the window, my breath fogging the glass as I took in the sight. The forest loomed ahead, a wall of towering trees with bark so dark it was almost black, their branches twisting like skeletal fingers against the sky. The leaves were a deep, unnatural green, shimmering slightly in the dappled sunlight, as if dusted with magic. But something about it felt… off.

He raises his hand and points toward the riverbank ahead. “Look.” I follow his gaze. At first I do not see anything unusual. Just muddy ground and dark water. Then something catches my attention. A small cluster of plants growing right near the edge of the water. I walk closer. And the moment I see it properly my eyes widen slightly. “Silvarin.” The leaves are thin and long but their color is strange. Instead of normal green they have a faint silver glow that makes them stand out even in the dim marsh light. The edges of the leaves shimmer slightly whenever the wind moves them.

He grins looking at my facial expression We walk out the door and I’m instantly slapped by the cold current on my face. Shadow walks around looking unfazed as if this is his everyday normal. It can get cold in Italy don’t get me wrong but this is just unbelievable I follow him to the back of the cabin and we start walking into the thick woods. I start feeling anxious every noise I’m hearing freaking me out. I start looking around scanning the area to ease my mind that there’s nothing there it’s just my imagination
