The Healer's Bond

The Healer's Bond

"Grim Hotel exists in multiple dimensions simultaneously. What looks like a simple building from the outside contains worlds within worlds." "You are being serious," Emma said, searching Terra's exotic features for any sign of deception. "I have no reason to lie," Terra replied with unsettling candor. "These floors are filled with lost creatures who have angered Grimkeeper. Would you like to see them?" The Succubus's eyes gleamed with anticipation as she added, "Perhaps, you can even watch me feed." Emma hesitated, her healer's ethics battling with her curiosity. The offer was morbid, potentially disturbing, yet contained the promise of knowledge—understanding how this strange place function

His Gray Half

His Gray Half

"Hey Adrian! You know me, I'm Maddy, and I've always wanted to meet you. Madelyn Gregory, Mad Greg for shorts to only her cheesy wannabes and haters, and that apparently was about seventy to eighty percent of Ridgewood High girls. Madelyn was one of the three Gorgon's of Ridgewood high (with Devon as number two) a look from either of the three, could petrify the heart of anybody. Her nastiness, and hoedom, made her a beacon of hate amongst the girls. Cheesy bunch! "Don't you have makeups to be applying, or blowjobs to sell somewhere?"

THE DEVIL'S HEIR

THE DEVIL'S HEIR

"You hurt my daughter. You invaded my territory. And now... you stand in my path." Grimm laughed, a sound like grinding rocks. "You dare speak to me like that, human? I am Grimm! I have ruled the darkness for a thousand years! You are nothing but a speck of dust!" "Big words for someone about to die," I smirked. I fired instantly! Three bullets shot out like lightning, aimed at his heart and head! But Grimm didn't even flinch. He raised his massive dark sword and swung it horizontally! He sliced my bullets out of mid-air like they were made of paper!

Mirror of the Greykin

Mirror of the Greykin

The wind howled through Boneburn Forest, carrying the acrid scent of burned wood. Lia crouched low among the twisted trees, her wolf ears flat against her skull, her senses straining for any sign of movement. Her sharp golden eyes scanned the underbrush, the faint rustling of leaves barely audible over the distant crackling of flames. A human hunting trap lay ahead, its iron teeth glinting in the dim light of the waning sun. "Greyskin," she muttered to herself, a bitter edge to the word. A half-wolf, a cursed creature—her existence was a silent rebellion against the world.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

"We've been expecting you." "You know me?" "Everyone knows you." The goblin turned, revealing a face that was all angles and avarice. "The human who ate the Maw. The heir who came back from the dead. The man who brought an army of wolves to Manhattan." He smiled, showing teeth that had been filed to points. "You're the most interesting thing to happen to this city in decades." "I'm flattered." "You should be. Interesting things get killed quickly around here." The goblin stepped forward, extending a hand that was slightly too long. "I am Grimshaw. Senior Partner of the Commerce Guild. And you, Mr. Sterling, have something we want."

Grimaldi's Blood and Vows

Grimaldi's Blood and Vows

As I followed, the door opened again, and in walked Beckett’s wife, whom I hadn’t killed yet for blackmail purposes. “What’s she doing here?” I asked. She couldn’t finish her sentence when I pointed the gun at her, kneeling beside me. “Tell me everything you know about my mom’s death, maybe... just maybe, I’ll spare the two of you.” Beckett spoke faster than the wind and told me everything he knew. I hid my grin and listened to him. “The Grimaldi family killed my parents and Tessa’s. We knew it would be impossible to kill all of you, so even if we could take just one person from your family, that would be enough for us to get our revenge.”

THE NIGHTMARE OF GREENWOOD CITY

She was also having the same thoughts, but she tried as much as possible to control her emotions. They went to the precinct immediately to inform the captain of their recent discovery. Sophia and her partner walked into the captain's office, their expressions serious. The captain looked up from his desk and immediately noticed the tension in the room. "What's the situation?" he asked, his voice steady. Sophia took a deep breath and began to recount the details of their investigation. "We received a tip from the wife of the first victim about the creature terrorizing Greenwood," she said. "The witness described the creature as a half-man, half-wolf."

Broken Nightmare

Broken Nightmare

“What the . . .” Scorched grass crunched from behind me, making me jump. Dimitri emerged in the field of bodies, studying me with a scrutinizing gaze. He looked worse than the vampires we had just fought. The wound on his shoulder and calf were still there from when I first watched him fight with the others. His arm was almost completely ripped off, just barely hanging on by a thread as he cradled it to his chest. Blood oozed from a white shirt he had on, darkening the fabric to an almost black color. His face was still distorted as long canines hung from his sneering mouth. “What did you do to them?”

This is a really unique and fun story. It has more action than steam and the confusion that the narrator feels is duplicated in the reader, but with curiosity. Good length, good vocabulary and writing. Totally enjoyable!
