That's good because I missed seeing the old loon that I used to know. “ Does it affect my mate?” He asks. Shaking my head “ no, she's protected, different but still protected,” I reassure him.

The chapter made an indication to a pendant that was blessed by the moon goddess that sounded and looked a lot like the one she was given by the Alpha and Luna. The legend says that whoever wears the pendant will be not only protected by the moon goddess but will be a guardian to the goddess. The legend went on to state the guardian would be able to pull power, when necessary, from the goddess Selene herself. Sonya was very intrigued but assumed the legend was just that a legend of folklore. After reading for another 30 minutes, she laid back down on her bed and fell asleep.
