A dry, humorless chuckle slipped out of me. “Martin, I’ve been doing stupid things my whole existence. What makes you think I’m living a miserable life?” I turned my head and looked at him. “It’s not like I’m suddenly prone to it. I always make stupid decisions. Stupid choices.” I huffed weakly. “Because I’m stupid.” He let out a soft breath. “That’s… the most human thing a person can do, Diana,” he uttered softly. “It’s normal.” His fingers reached out, carefully brushing a loose strand of hair from my face before tucking it behind my ear.

I felt incredibly bored. I had given Joan a call to hang out but she wasn’t chanced to meet today. I didn’t have any scene to shoot, Caden was still in his office, still choked up with work. Not having anyone to talk to, I walked to the lobby and started throwing darts at the dartboard. I just kept missing the shot. “You can’t even get a single dart in.” That voice came from behind me. I gulped as all the hair rose on my neck.

Then, without further thought, he shoved me toward the door, meaning to tell me to get a cab back home instead. Just then, Eva suddenly ran over to us. "Mr. Garner! Ms. Castro—" While running toward me, she deliberately "failed" to stop herself and crashed right into me. A split second later, I felt her forcefully push me off the stairs so that I'd tumble all the way down to the ground. I bumped myself into several steps and even scraped and cut myself on them. Finally, I tumbled and landed with a heavy plop into a roadside ditch.

Then I had a sudden realization and brought my head out, staring at my door, "Wait." My hands traveled down to my pants. I patted my pockets and felt a bump on one of the back ones. I sighed and pulled them out, "Same situation." "Every." "Single." "Time." I slapped my forehead repeatedly and shoved the key into the keyhole, "You are the dumbest person alive. To ever exist in the universe. I swear to god." I muttered to myself. Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist,

This immediately pisses Dominic off and he snaps back, “The last time I checked you were the Three Stooges.” “Which,” Joseph says as he just can’t help himself, “It makes you a bit dumber than us.” Anthony is the first to protest, “You are so dumb you just called yourself dumb.” Dominic only continues to snap back, “What do they say, it takes one to know one.” “Did your lame ass just come up with that?” Mathew asks. “At least I have an ass.” “That is about all you got going for you.” “At least I got something going. You probably have not seen a pussy for years.”

How a being that has lived for more than hundreds of years can still be so stupid is beyond me. Judging by the scowl on his face, he didn't get it. The poor guy jumps up, kicks the chair and grabs onto his hair. "Of all the possibilities, he had to break every law and choose a stupid one," he hisses, pacing around like a lost puppy.
