Gwen X Novels & Stories

He explains. "Right.." I say shifting on my feet nervously. I'm about to ask him another question when my wolf suddenly starts howling inside of me and I feel a sharp pain in my stomach and my head and everywhere. 'Wolfsbane!!' Morgan exclaims from inside of me and I suddenly feel disconnected from her. I feel a sensation like she's slipping away from me but I can still faintly feel her. "Morgana?" Reece says my name and I let out an excruciating scream because the pain just got worse and I don't think I can sense my wolf anymore.

All except one. A face that glared at me with a conceited smile. She had waited for this moment, she had waited to look me in the eyes with a calculative stare. Shania, drapes in a red polkadot gown and a black cashmere trenchcoat hanging over her shoulders. She let her ginger hair fall over shoulder with a braid at the two ends of her frontal. “Finally, we thought you were gonna have to cancel this meeting,” She smiled as though our argument yesterday never happened, like this was the first time we were speaking in months.

Okay, something was not right. I looked at Gwen more carefully, and my own smile gradually disappeared. "Gwen... who is she?" She closed her eyes, took a slow breath, and opened them again without saying a single word. Okay, now I was genuinely worried. "Gwen?" She finally looked directly into my eyes. "...She..." She paused again, then forced herself to finish. "...she is Alpha Kael's former chosen mate.”

I was still staring at her phone, brows furrowed, when the bathroom door opened. Gwen stepped out, hair damp and slightly curled from the water, wearing nothing but a white towel tied across her chest. It barely reached the top of her thighs. Droplets of water clung to her shoulders and collarbone, sliding slowly down her skin. My breath caught. She looked beautiful. Vulnerable. Tempting. But the moment she saw my face, her steps faltered. “Alex?” she asked softly, concern replacing the relaxed expression she’d walked out with. “What’s wrong? You look tense.”

I didn’t know who he was, but I would, soon enough, and when that happened, I was going to be sure to make him regret ever setting foot in her office. “I already have him covered,” she said. “But, Xavier…” her voice hesitated for a fraction of a second. “That last name. I asked around about it. No has heard of that name in years, and there was no boy in the picture, none at all. There is one, though, they say a woman exists in that name. No one has seen her in years, no one has laid eyes on her. Her mother died a witch, her wolf side dormant completely. The first time she shifted, she was killed by another. Her daughter went into hiding. They called her Liana, whether or not that is her real

She returned my smile with a soft motherly gaze. "Alpha, I checked her blood and she's basically full with wolfsbane. She also lacked proper nutrition. Her mental state is also sort of unstable because of her past experiences before you met her, Alpha. The reason why Luna Xanthe is thoroughly exhausted right now is because her body is not used to not getting the drugs that she usually received on a daily basis." Doc. Hals informed him. I felt him tensed and asked her, "Wolfsbane? Are you saying that she is actually a wolf like us?"

The closeness of the ocean with Agron makes these creatures immortal themselves. In the Paqua dessert lives the goblins, minotaurs and wargs, they are led by goblins yet these creatures always live in chaos with each other since neither of them could reason like humans. In Guado forest lives necromancer witches known as the lich, wendigos, Sasquatch, werewolves and werehyenas. These are led by the lich who are nearly immortal beings too. In the 1502, Ravana Ashworth who led the kingdom of Agron had lost his queen Agatha in a battle when she was stubbed to death. He was left a widow by the age of three thousand with his daughter Empusa.

Do I have dementia? “Oh dear, you look confused.” She says as she laughs a little, “Come with me, I feel like I should introduce you to some people.” She says and I blindly follow her. Too confused to know what’s going on. “This is Gwen, Harry, Marie, Penelope, Daphne, Kyle, Daryl, Juliette, Sarah, Seb, Ron, Terry and of course Dave.” My eyes widen when I realize what is happening. Oh. My. God.

Gwen grumbled, shoving the golden comb into the bottom drawer of her wardrobe, burying it under a pile of discarded odds and ends. Unbeknownst to Gwen, the golden comb began to emit a soft, shimmering glow amidst Hans's old junk—a glowing mark of an unfinished bond of ownership.

“Hah!” I shift and glance at Aderyn uneasily. This might take a while. Aderyn croaks loudly then spreads its wings and flaps hard to gain the witch’s attention. “Day is almost upon us, so let me speak briefly. Gwen’s blood is, as you have noticed, wolf and witch. She has come to prove herself a witch and me her familiar. Do you accept?” The haggard women all stop talking long enough to listen before they all whisper to themselves. Even with my werewolf hearing, I can’t tell what they are saying.
