She cupped Delilah’s face, held her still, kissed her like she needed it to breathe.
Delilah clung to her, dripping and gasping, whispering her name like a curse.
They didn’t take it further. Not yet. But the line was crossed. Shattered.
When they broke apart, both shaking, Delilah looked her in the eye and said, “This never happened.”
Then she wrapped a towel around herself and walked out.
