Hades Castle Novels & Stories

If only it was too easy to concentrate on her work and stop remembering things. Finally the son of a god had found out that he also needed a goddess to feel himself completed. The Son of Hades was finally a God. He had found his queen, his master mind, his last piece, his soul mate, and his goddess. And he was going to put her under his rules, of course, not before she put him under hers.

He carried me away towards a door. “Just make sure Helios never finds his life chain. Aphrodite yelled after us. Hades smirked to himself. I saw a hint of evil in the smile but convinced myself he just didn’t like them. “You just worry about him not finding you two.” Hades called back to her. A string of expletives left the woman, but we didn’t hear all of them. We walked through the door and were in a different place. A castle with dark stones carved into what looked like an underground mountain towered before us. I looked around, visibly distraught.

We were finally in the outskirts of Hades’ kingdom, I couldn’t describe the immaculate nature of the land but it was befitting to Hades. Hades signaled and the carriage stopped by a large imposing gate, “get out,” he gritted. I nodded, dropping from the carriage, I guess he didn’t want to be seen around someone like me. Astrid had a smug look on her face as I turned to close the door, “bye,” she smirked resting her head on Hades’ chest. I pulled the old jacket I had on tightly close to my body, trying to shield my body from the chilled air. The gates creaked open, revealing a land I would say was dripping in gold, the lush green forest, stretching out as far as my eyes could see.

“No. If they wish to return to you, then I will not stop them, however, I will not tell them to go with you either. Now, leave my land.” Hades turns to head back to his pack and leaves the other wolves behind. I watch them and I can tell this will not be good, as I’ve seen it before. I am proved right, when the male at the head of the group, lunges forward and shifts mid stride, to attack Hades from behind. His buddies follow him a few seconds later, and as the first reaches Hades, I see him turn and grab the first wolf by the throat, stopping him in his tracks and lifting him off the ground. **

"Are you certain you want to trade your most precious gift for the Underworld's protection?" A chilling, low voice echoed through the temple. Hades materialized from the shadows. He was the King of the Dead, radiating a biting cold that felt entirely out of place in the Temple of Light I’d served for two years. "I'm sure," I said, a little shocked he had answered in person. But I quickly took a deep breath and steadied my voice. "As long as I can leave this place, I'll give up everything."

Author's POV The Haven of Shadows did not look like a fortress. From the winding mountain road above Lake Tahoe, it appeared to be exactly what it claimed, a private luxury villa carved into the Nevada mountainside. Glass walls overlooking dark water. Heated stone terraces. Subtle perimeter lighting. Discreet but expensive security. Motion sensors tracked wildlife. Cameras swept the tree line. The private gate at the base of the drive required biometric clearance and rotating access codes. To mortal eyes, it was wealth. But to supernatural senses, it was something else entirely.

Jonathan screamed, his knees buckling. "You dare," Hades growled, his voice laced with the deadly resonance of a storm, the kind that warned of death and ruin. His aura expanded, choking the very air in the hall. Even the guards who had been lurking in the shadows stepped back, trembling. Jonathan sobbed, thrashing like a trapped animal. "Ouch! Stop! You’re breaking my wrist!" Hades’s grip only tightened, his sharp canines glinting as he leaned closer. "Where is my daughter?" His tone was not a question; it was a death sentence waiting for an answer.

For the past 7 months, Lord Hades, who has been tirelessly searching for Raya, decided to stay at the ruined castle and wait for Raya to maybe return. He rebuilt the castle from ashes overnight. But seven months have passed, and nothing has happened, yet he never gave up the search for her, but it seems she has disappeared from the face of the earth. “You defy my orders about witches living free among us.” Lord Hades questions, stopping behind Raya. That's when she was snapped out of her trance; she lifts her bag, and turning with lowered head, she mutters, “Thank you, your majesty.” With that said, she turns and speeds off like she’s being chased.

" Martha clears her throat as she enters my office, stirring me from my thoughts. "Please, sit down." I smile down at Martha, laying on my best playboy charm. "Thank you, Mr. Velimir." "Please call me Hades; Mr. Velimir sounds so formal." Martha's cheeks blush red as she fans herself with the manila folder she's brought in. "May I?" I ask as I leave my drink on the windowsill and walk toward my desk, standing directly behind Martha, my hand just barely grazing hers as I reach for the folder.
