Naya Aurora.” Hailey nodded. “Yes, my mother is a famous beautician,” Hailey agreed.

I can see that she really wants to ask me to explain but doesn't want to make me uncomfortable so I tell her everything that happened at the Martinez mansion, what little there is to tell, at least. Quietly, Hailey gathers me into her hands and tucks my head beneath her chin. As tears well up in my eyes, I find myself thinking that something like this would never happen to Hailey. She is 5ft 10 inches tall, with rich creamy skin, and her natural blond hair has gold streaks in it. She is slim and curvy and has the face of a supermodel. She had come back because of the school vacation. So, this was the Gamma. “Damon, where is Hailey?” Alaric asked. “She’s going to get your mum; they should be right out.” We stood there for a minute or so, then a really pretty girl just a few years older than me came to Damon’s side, followed by an older woman, but not too old. The woman was also very lovely. She looked to be in her late forties, possibly fifties, but she had a very good complexion. She was a brunette with some grays, but not a lot, and she had hazel eyes.

Hailey’s voice cut me off and we saw her running toward us, holding Jane’s hand, her face glowing with excitement. She barreled into my arms, and I scooped her up, smiling as her laughter filled the air. "Mama, this is the best day ever! I am so happy." Hailey exclaimed. “ Jane and I dance very well.” Hailey said happily, looking at Jane. Oh, she did? I dropped her on her feet, gently tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. She was wearing a beautiful lavender dress that matched her eyes, and she'd somehow managed to get frosting on her cheek despite the fact that we hadn't even cut the cake yet.
