Halcyon Mythical Bird Novels & Stories

I thought it sounded much more like falcon than Seabhag, so I was surprised at her answer. “Halcon translates as hawk,” she said with a smile. Her dark eyes were piercing, and I wondered if she was known for watching people like a hawk, but I didn’t ask, only smiled at her. “The five of you likely have more questions for Miss Nightingale, so feel free to ask her anything, just keep in mind that she is new to all of this and may not be able to answer everything you’d like to know.” Mage Jaye leaned back in her chair then, as if her part of the conversation was over.

boasted the creature, whose appearance did not surprise the princess. "Milky, what have I told you about showing yourself without me summoning you first? If the wrong person sees you, it can cause a lot of trouble for mom and I." Luna scolded the creature that many had mistaken for a magical item. Milky belonged to a rare breed of birds that only forged contracts with a selective individual of their choosing and bestowed upon them powerful magical artifacts.

Chu Xun asked the Eagle to send Jiu You and his companions back while he hurried over to the nearest city. After comprehending the Mystics of the Roc and Leviathan, Chu Xun found that his speed was now six times the speed of sound-breaking. The roc was the combination of the Kun and the Peng. The Kun was a fish, called the God of the Sea; while the Peng was a bird. It could fly all the way to the height of 4,500km with the flapping of its wings. It was called the God of the Wind, the symbol of speed. Chu Xun had not fully comprehended the Mystics of the Roc and Leviathan yet. If he had, he would probably be much faster.

My mother is a phoenix. I've seen the crest in the books I've read. The only people who hold that crest are royalty, but not just any royal. Maple is part of an ancient tribe called the Bird Tribe, or Celestians, and they live on a floating island in the sky called Altera that can be seen every one hundred years. Celestians or they go for another name, angels - are the only ones with light magic that can purify dark magic. I can not believe my mother is part of a Bird Tribe, not only that she's a princess.

I might be close to my first shift! "My name is Halcyon," she smiles wolfishly, flashing her canines. "I have been waiting so long to meet you." "Halcyon," I repeat out loud, imprinting her name into my memory. It is as unique and lovely as she is, mysterious and magical. My tears flow more freely as I close my eyes, grateful for someone to talk to. Slate had described his wolf, Sage, as being like a best friend that you carried within you, a part of you, yes, but with a personality and soul of its own. I could use a friend now more than ever.

With their current strength, they had no way of stopping Gideon. "If Gideon's coming, then we'll make sure he never leaves," Oscar said coldly. James asked cautiously, "Your Grace, do you have a plan?" Oscar narrowed his eyes. "I'm planning… to contact the Halcyon Clan and request their aid." Instantly, all the elders and leaders in the hall tensed up. The atmosphere turned strange. The Halcyon Clan was an extremely terrifying group. They lived overseas and kept an extremely low profile—so much so that many powerhouses and warriors didn't even know they existed.

Surely? As quietly as she could she hurried out of her chambers and down the stairs to the courtyard, stories of the Lightning Bird swirling in her head. Half-man, half-bird, the Lightning Bird was a portent of chaos, of unravelling. It was a myth in a city of a thousand myths. One that old people told to young as a warning or a blessing. Voices coming from a darkened corner of the courtyard stopped her. They were low but the tension was unmistakable. Ilyria stopped, distracted from her pursuit and pressed back into an alcove near the door she had just exited.

At the same time, Alex, the Mystic Maiden, and the others also felt unprecedented pressure. A thick killing intent enveloped each of them. Dark clouds rolled in the sky—the golden light that rushed down fiercely increasing. It broke out of the clouds. The golden light shone like a great sun. It was... A giant, paved golden eagle—its size was about ten times bigger than the Immortal Bird. Alex was shocked. "It's that giant bird!" He vividly remembered that the moment he had just entered this heaven and earth, he saw a giant golden bird swoop down in the sky and instantly grab the ancient dinosaur-like giant beast.

said Chelsea her voice sounded hollow to herself as well but she knew what that bird was at first glance , it was just denial instinct kicking in, that made her refuse because she knew that if that bird was really a deviuture then they have no chance at all of getting out of this ordeal alive . With its bright orangish yellow flame like plumage, on its fore were sharp and pointy like spikes similar to a mohawk style except that this mohawk started from its head down to the hind of its feathery body and at last was its horrible tail - that looked like as if it was made out off thousands of scorpions tails called metasomas - each aculeus filled with deadly venom moving and crawling like millio

Boom! A terrifying tremor erupted. The Violet Rain Bird instinctively resisted forming a contract with Adrian, but given the circumstances, it could only offer token resistance. Adrian smiled, fully aware of the bird's internal struggle. It was clearly waiting for an opportunity to escape, but now that the contract had been signed, escape was impossible. In a short time, the contract was established. The Violet Rain Bird was relatively young, having lived just over a hundred years, which marked adulthood in the realm of beasts. As Adrian examined the Violet Rain Bird's bloodline, he was astonished to discover it was a descendant of an ancient phoenix.
