The Forgotten Titan's Resurgence

The Forgotten Titan's Resurgence

Gideon sensed that these two seemed to harbor a mutual animosity. The scarlet light parted, unveiling the apex overbeast inside. Unlike Tonitrui Eagle, its size was much smaller. At first glance, it looked like a large bird, with a body that was a fiery red. Its crimson eyes seemed as if they could ignite flames, and its feathers were actually enveloped in real fire. "Flamenie Bird," Gideon acknowledged, glancing at Tonitrui Eagle, which nodded in confirmation. This was indeed a Flamenie Bird, though Gideon suspected it wasn't purebred. Nevertheless, it was extremely rare. Despite being only a lower apex overbeast, it had managed to leave Tonitrui Eagle at a loss, highlighting the difference

The detail in those feathers is exquisite, every line sharp and sure. I glance back at the walls. Most of the animals she has up are wolves, which makes sense, I guess. But none of them appeal to me. Nothing I want inked into my skin permanently. I do another slow circuit of the room, scanning for anything I might have missed, but it is the same. The only piece that keeps catching my eye is the bird. Sage must notice, because from my spot by the far wall she says, “It’s a phoenix. The phoenix dies and is reborn from the ashes. It symbolises rebirth, strength and transformation.”

The Alpha's Chosen Mate

The Alpha's Chosen Mate

I don't say this, however, letting him continue. "I got this a few years later," he refers to the creature that sits above the circular pattern. It has wings that are arched around the design as if guarding it with its teeth and claws. It looks somewhat familiar, stylised though it is. "The Great Winged Karelax." "The Legend of the Mountains," I breathe quietly as I recognise the dragon-like creature of ancient myths. "They were fierce, and very loyal." "But they're all extinct," I loosen a sigh at the tragic fate of the majestic creatures.

Steamy Fairytales Collection: An 18+ Dark Fairytales Series

Steamy Fairytales Collection: An 18+ Dark Fairytales Series

To be honest it was a sight to behold. "It is a Phoenix. The bird is called Phoenix and according to the books. I read it is believed to guide someone of great strength and destiny to accomplish their purpose. It is believed that anyone whom it follows becomes a legend," I said with a smile. For the first time, I felt like I knew something he didn’t. "Your life must have been boring for you to memorize such a useless belief. This is the twenty-first century. Those things are mere superstitions," Noah said and I felt my bubble of joy deflate.

Demon's Evolution

Demon's Evolution

I revealed, a mysterious twinkle in my eyes. The chickens, my dear friend, were no ordinary fowl. Oh no, they were extraordinary creatures, for they possessed within them the very essence of the legendary phoenix. Yes, you heard me right, phoenix blood coursed through their veins, making them the true descendants of that mythical bird. Eliza, with her eyes gleaming with curiosity and excitement, couldn't resist the temptation. "Riel, please, I must have some of these magnificent creatures to take home," she pleaded, her determination evident in her voice.

GINI: The Wicked Saviour

GINI: The Wicked Saviour

Despite the poor illumination provided by the candle, the detailed features of the birds could be seen from all dimensions. Wait, Zita raised her candle, and its light created a little distinct feature on the image. What bird wears a sword on their waist and girdle and shoes? ‘This was no bird,’ she concluded as they came even closer to the image. They looked more like men who had wings strapped on their backs like eagles but have swords and armors. Zita’s frowned deepened as she felt all the stories that her mother had told her were false. How could her mother mistake men with wings as birds?

Raven the lurker
I have gotten used to read female lead stories from her so this time when it is male lead it's quite a refreshing and interesting change up. The start is promising and very well written and it's not the typical type of a novel so give it a chance as this author never ceases from surprising you.
Anthony .O. Godwin

Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father

Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father

"Yes, if our child is a boy, I want him to be dashing like me." "You're so confident," Ava muttered before kissing her husband's cheek. "Then, is there anything else you like?" "Aquilla. Its shape resembles an eagle. In Greek mythology, Aquilla is a pet and a creature that was tasked with carrying lightning by Zeus. Sounds cool, right?" Ava nodded. "Let's put them into the list." When they were about to read again, the sound of a horn roused their bodies from the bed. "Uncle, Auntie! Are you still sleeping?"

This book is amazing!! I cannot put it down. I disagree with some of the other reviews. I am glad that the story is long because I never want it to end!! Although, I’m only on 159, I love that I can binge read and am more invested with each chapter

Aloof and arrogant CEO meets firecracker Kara. Just started to read and liking their bickering and comedy situations. Has a bit of asian vibes with the unrealistic job demands and super intelligent twins but it's good and looking forward to reading more.

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

"Oh! The snatchers." I had seen their paintings before at the fortress. Selma had told me that they were cruel and violent mythological creatures that were sent by Zeus to punish humans. The birdwomen in those pictures looked ugly. Why does Laelia have to look pretty even as a beast? Her wings were so majestic and her hair was gorgeous.

I didn’t see that coming in chapter 80. I know why it had to happen this way and how it’s going to pay off but I really loved reading their little side story and feel sad that it ended and he will be grieving. It’s one of the best redemption arcs and would like to read more about him.

Persephone: Leonidas' Domina

Persephone: Leonidas' Domina

The bird looked at her now as if it was considering going to her but Circe did not seem to like that before he flew over to Leonidas and sat on his head. Immediately, Kleopatra woke from her nap, letting out loud hisses as Fani stood and took the kitten away, patting her behind. "There there, Tiger." "What is that on my head?" Leonidas asked, not daring to move a muscle. "A Phoenix," Persephone answered. "They are birds that can be used for transportation or lifting heavy objects and their tears heal wounds. Another thing about them is that they burn up and turn to ashes then are reborn," Then she faced Loukas "They are extinct. I am sure this was Poseidon's creation, yes?"

The Almighty Dragon General

The Almighty Dragon General

’ James looked at him in shock. Suddenly, he asked, “So who’s stronger? The first peacock or phoenix?” Yrian smiled, shook his head, and said, “Phoenix? Everyone might think the phoenix came before the peacock. However, that’s not the case. They both existed way before the different worlds existed. There is no specific order.” Then, he pointed outside the hall and said, “Phoenixes aren’t anything special here. Here, they are just pets and mounts.” James’ jaw dropped in shock, and he pondered, ‘The powerful and legendary beings were merely pets and mounts? Then, are the Azure Dragons, White Tigers, Vermilion Birds, and Black Tortoises not even worthy of being mounts?

This end is terrible. I strongly believe there is a volume 2 or part 2. I refuse to be left hanging and thinking of a million ways the whole thing played out. Patiently waiting for volume 2............
