I wander the garage, gawking at the cornucopia of luxury cars. Phantom’s garage sprawls 4,400 square feet, marble floors veined with gold. The space is shaped like a crown, roof and lighting designed like a hubcap. Over a hundred cars form a circle around the centerpiece: a Bugatti 16c Galibier, perched on a rotating pedestal under halogen lamps that dim and flare. Opposite, a Boeing 757 waits behind sliding glass doors. The faint hum of machinery fills the cavernous space, blending with the sterile scent of polished chrome.

The legs of the table, finely carved, curved and polished peeked out from underneath a white, no, eggshell lace table cloth that had never been there before.
