He would have been stunned by this but not enough to have his jaw drop but what had stunned him most was the fact that- Feral was a half-elf. An existence supposedly incapable of existing, as bizarre as a half-demon, half-angel child existing. Both were as impossible as a myth, yet here was Feral a half-elf! Although his second race was unknown, his existence was still something incomprehensible, and if found, people wouldn’t like to let go of. Before he could think more about it he had a splash from the lake grabbing his attention and making his eyes widen as his feet moved involuntarily towards Feral who was now inside the lake.

she said, and I waved at her in response. Alone in my room, my thoughts turned to my life as a half-rank wolf. With an alpha Dad and an omega mom, our existence was considered an abomination by our society, neither fully high-ranked nor fully low-ranked. The high wolves would despise us for having our blood mixed with the slaves, while the slaves would treat us the same for being above them despite having the same blood. It was like we had no place in this world.

- The purebreds, the half-breds, and the nocturnal ones. - the purebloods, who can bear children, the half-breds who are sterile, and the nocturnal ones who do not even need to be sterile, as they can only walk at night and are despicable creatures, thirsty for blood and violence. But there is a fourth subspecies. Rare and that purebloods prefer to keep hidden from common vampires. The half-humans. - half-humans? Did you mention half-breds that kept part human? - No, my prince. I refer to creatures born from human mothers and pureblood fathers, or to human fathers and pureblood mothers.

This was no ordinary wolf. This was a half-human, half-wolf. I had never seen anything like this before except in movies or in books. Yet, I was seeing this in 3D and I was afraid, my heart couldn't take what it was seeing. Oh my goodness. This was a lot. "Who are you?"

“Do you know him Caspian?” Caspian didn’t take his eyes off Delan. “I know what he is” That was enough for me. “Then say it” “Dhampir” The word landed heavy and Jasper let out a low whistle. “Still not over how weird that is” I ignored him, my attention staying on Delan. Half human, half vampire, it's been centuries since I last heard of them. I heard they had been last wiped out, but I guess not. “What do you want?“

Closing the book, I recite the curse, “The one to break the curse was born with no family but yet makes one with little to no help. This person has a pure heart but also has pain. One who will learn more and give back more than receive more, tortured and beaten, mistreated for being nothing more than a half-ling but befriends more creatures than anyone could know. Learn to adapt to those around you; you will know who you are because we are similar then they may think. Fear for loved ones shows three sets of wings that go well with our bat ears. Welcome to the new age.” Going over it once again but stopping after the first line, ‘born with no family yet makes one with little to no help. This

“She's a true hybrid. She's a demon, angel, and human, but only a tiny smidge is human. You, Ana, are what we call a halfling. You're half-human and half-demon. A halfling is a hybrid of sorts but nothing like Misha. Ana looks at me firmly, “I will make her comfortable. You go dry yourself off because we need to talk.”

"Hell, I am different, and it turns out no matter where I am, in the human realm or here, I will never fully belong." "That's not true." I tried to comfort him. He turned and jumped back into the stairway. "Hard like a rock so I'm unable to be with a human and here?" He glanced at his back. "No wings." He laughed harshly. "I'm half gargoyle and half human. Neither place will ever fully fit me." He started up the stairs.

Another lord leaner, with eyes like banked coals, leaned forward. “It cannot stand,” he said. “The child is half human. His blood is diluted. His body was raised among mortals, bound to a mortal spouse, and only recently forced into even partial awakening. We are not a court of sentiment. We are the oldest powers under this sky. A halfblood has no place on the seat you occupy.”
