But who knew that the fantasy romance novel would suddenly get turned into a horror novel. 'Halloween's Party', a game where selected people gets chosen to participate in a supernatural survival game. Those selected people are called as the ‘Players’. It is said that if you complete and clear 'Halloween's Party' you will get what you desire. No matter the wealth, beauty, power or even immortality.

“I’ve been saving up. You know, from my internship stipend.” Tina’s eyes narrowed, but she didn’t push further. The look of disappointment on her face, though, was almost worse than if she had flat-out called me out on my lie. As Halloween approached, the excitement on campus was palpable. Everyone was talking about the big festival and bar crawl downtown. There would be vendors, live music, a costume contest, even a haunted house. It was one of my favorite yearly traditions, one that Tina and I had always attended together. And this year, our entire group would be together. Laughter rolled through the clearing like music. It was the annual Crescent Moon Halloween Fair, a tradition my mother insisted we keep every year. But this time, everything felt different. SSHS 90 It is already the 3rd week of the month of October, and people are already getting excited for the Halloween Event that will take place at the end of the month. " Billy muttered as the customers stared at her. She walked over to the counter and washed her hands in the sink after she had placed the tickets on the counter. "That was brave of you, I would not have done that for a million bucks" Hazel spoke as she scoffed. "Easy for you to say" Billy picked one of the tickets and read through it. "Halloween show by 9 PM? Come with your favorite Halloween costume and a partner!" He laughed and turned the back of the ticket. "But, are the skulls on the ticket necessary?"
