My Sister’s Golden Lies Exposed

My Sister’s Golden Lies Exposed

The pack's betrayal. She listened quietly, her eyes dark. "I believe you," she stroked my hair. "Tomorrow, I'm taking you to see someone." The next evening, Grandma took me to an old stone cabin near the territory border. A mysterious woman walked out. She looked around fifty, wearing a dark cloak and holding a silver cane topped with a lifelike, red-eyed snake. "Zelda," Grandma nodded respectfully. "She needs your help." Zelda the witch looked me up and down with deep, hollow eyes.

Hallow's Edge

Hallow's Edge

It pulses once, like a heartbeat. I swallow hard. Strange things have always happened when I’m upset, lights flickering, books falling, dreams that feel too real, but this feels different. Like the pendant is reacting to something out there. Or calling to it. The fog thins as we turn onto a narrow road lined with lanterns shaped like pumpkins. They sway even though there’s no wind. “Hallow’s Edge goes all out for Halloween,” Ms. Carter says cheerfully. “Biggest festival in the county. You’ll be here just in time.”

Three Years of Lies: The Fake Wife’s Mega Comeback

Three Years of Lies: The Fake Wife’s Mega Comeback

The gnarled, old limbs arched gently under the winter light, but it was not the season for flowers. There were still a few dried crimson pomegranates hanging here and there like little lamps, giving the tiny courtyard a hint of warm liveliness. As soon as Haley entered the gate, the smell of dumplings welcomed her. Rhett rushed her inside and exclaimed, "Grandma! Grandpa! We're here!” Haley initially thought the address was a little strange, but then she recalled that, in contrast to Vest city, folks up north referred to their maternal grandparents as "Grandma and Grandpa."

Eva replied. "I can't believe it. It's a spirit!" Elly clapped her hands. Eva took a deep breath. "I knew it. I released a ghost, didn't I? Please tell me you have a ghost hunter team in this town. Because I made a promise to my grandmother! I'm going to celebrate this Christmas in that house!"

Bite Me Harder, Alpha

Bite Me Harder, Alpha

He lets go and presses a quick kiss to my temple. Maddox and I move quickly and quietly through the trees. In the air, the drones blink on and off. Ryker’s trick worked. The blue door is set into the hillside so well that I almost walk past it. I’m ten feet from the door when Maddox yanks me back. “Wait,” he breathes, body locking up. “You smell that?” Maddox’s expression changes. “That’s not wolf.” The door swings open. Grandma is standing there in the flesh, looking just as I remember. But behind her is a woman.

True or Fake, Love or Hatred

True or Fake, Love or Hatred

Halle asked when she heard my sobs, and she tugged at my arm. I quickly wiped away my tears. "Mommy just misses Grandma," I said. Halle hugged me. "Mommy, don't cry. Can we leave Daddy's place? I want to go find Granny." I looked at the two wooden statues and forced a bitter smile. "Halle, Grandma has been taking care of us for so long. She's very tired. We’ll let her rest, and then we'll go find her, okay?" "Promise?" Halle asked.

she said with a straight face. Grandma reached for a slice, her fork stabbing into the bird. The dildo buzzed to life—Paris must have remote-controlled it. Grandma’s eyes went wide as the turkey vibrated on the plate. “What in the world?” she yelped, pulling out the glistening toy. It was covered in stuffing, buzzing wildly. “This isn’t cranberry sauce!” Dad’s face turned red. “Mom, maybe you should rest. I’ll take you to the living room.” He ushered her out, muttering about pranks.

The Devil Tree House

The Devil Tree House

"Oh why is your face like that Sam, what happened?" "The cabinet ..." She pointed to the cupboard. "What's up there?" Her grandmother asked. "There's a ghost in cabinet, grandma." The old man looked around the room. "Come on let's get out of here." Her grandmother said. Her grandmother grabbed her by the shoulder and let her out of the room. It closed the door and walked away. "Don't ever enter that room again, it's still Good Friday." Grandma said. "What's up on Good Friday Grandma?" She wiped her face with a trace of tears.

Alpha Nox

Alpha Nox

She quickly ushered us into the living room, where we were enveloped in the scent of freshly baked bread, warm honey, and a myriad of mouthwatering spices. A small, plaid couch sat against a faux brick wall. On it was another older woman with the same dark skin and cunning eyes as Jada and Hakeem’s grandma. The man that shouted reclined in a matching armchair to the left. “It’s an honor to meet the two of you. You two can call me grandma Agnes, and that’s Grandpa Joe. Over on the sofa is my sister, Martha. Don’t pay too much attention to her. Her bark is worse than her bite.”

Awesome book with a crazy, strong female. Has some typos and inconsistencies but still understandable as has decent grammar. Would be better if nox had shown more of his abilities to be at par with his strong mate

This was the 3rd Jane Doe book I read. Alpha nox is a really good read with a badass female lead. You're a talented author and I can say you've become my favorite author! My heart broke into pieces at some point but intense emotions are what I love the most about your work! Good job, Jane!
