I looked up to see my father standing over us. “She passed out” I told him. He dropped it again and looked over to me. “She can do this, with just a wiggle of her fingers?” his voice was uncertain, impressed but laced with a bit of fear. She pulls my mate away and she looks over her shoulder and gives me a sympathetic smile.
