"Kael? I killed him two days ago. Couldn't have loose ends walking around who knew too much about my plans." "You bastard," Dante gasped, his hands shaking as he tried to push himself upright. "I underestimated you." "Yes, you did," Blake agreed. "You see, I became a hybrid instead of a vampire for two reasons. First, because I was terrified of you. I knew I could never beat a full vampire in a straight fight even if I was a full vampire, so I needed an edge. Second, hybrids have fewer vampire weaknesses - like immunity to most plant toxins that would kill your kind."

“You fight, you survive and you find a way to meet those conditions, even if it means defying your alpha.” She returned to the table and began wrapping the items. “These herbs will strengthen the mate bond, make the separation less painful. The crystals are protective wards, make sure to keep them close. And this…” She held up the vial of silver liquid. “….is for emergencies only.” “What is it?”

"Alpha, please, I was testing Nightfall pack's defenses. Gathering intelligence on their—" Another brutal kick, this time to his stomach, doubled him over. Clain vomited blood onto the cold floor. "Testing?" Zeta's laugh was inhuman, more snarl than sound. "You pathetic worm. You sent them because you're a coward. Because you knew you wouldn't have succeeded if you were there. I don't fucking care if you live, all I want is Zora must be dead!." He yelled. "The person you scared off isn’t even a full wolf or vampire—just a damn hybrid. He could’ve been killed with an ordinary stake," Zeta said, his face twisting in contempt.

Unless. "You're a hybrid." "Exactly, Alpha." Noah said sarcastically, Mia gasped and put her hand in front of her mouth. She was really surprised at this new revelation, they knew each other since they're were born. And she never knew this side of him. "Stupid hybrids." Blaze muttered in his voice. "I'm a half wizard and werewolf." He grinned. "I knew it!" Zach yelled, "I felt your energy that was unknown to me which was bizarre but I knew you were a wizard, damn I'm so intelligent man."

“If you or i was in that mans situation, where our loved one is probably dying and you don’t even know what to think because you can’t even see her, because someone won’t allow you to see her—” “Won’t you want to break protocol. Won’t you say fuck the protocol” I added whilst taking one look at Dele from outside the ward. “Because i will” WU She halted sharply as i jerked forward. Opening the doors, we took a second to take in the new sight of the building. Jones’. “It’s already painted?” She asked as i stared at the fusion of its colors. Purple, red and Yellow and all of it, along the bustling streets of Miami. She had noticed in that second just how dark it had gotten.

he said "She has to mate and be marked by her mate willingly for the prophecy not to come to pass"he said "What?"Lemuel was shocked,I was too as well,so as dad and Alec "Wait, wait,if she does that, then she'd be an HYRBID, wait what?"Alec asked so confusely "What's an HYRBID?"I asked "Vampire and a werewolf"Lemuel answered "No way"I said "That is it,you're gonna an HYRBID Mera shawn, you're gonna be the most supreme and you're gonna be in the position to bring balance, peace and unity to the two worlds,it is written already"the priest said

But somewhere in all of this, I began to notice how much more it was becoming. It wasn’t until one particularly dangerous mission that I felt the full weight of our connection. We had been sent into the heart of a heavily infected zone to retrieve some critical data, and we found ourselves face to face with a horde of zombies. It was a close call, one that nearly cost us everything.

All things I'd have been perfectly content never knowing. Once the strangers were completely mutilated beyond recognition, they were finally begging for death. Blake smiled more widely than I'd ever seen as he leaned closer to them, appearing almost euphoric in their misery. They confessed that they were from the Silver Moon Pack in Maine. They had formed an alliance as a promise for reinforcement in their own ongoing disputes. Luckily, Silver Moon Pack was a smaller pack and not a true threat to us. However, it wasn’t clear how many other packs may be forming alliances with the Bois Sombre Pack—it was likely they were not the only one.

“The tips of the fangs were barely lodged into the bone’s surface. We just needed to be at the right angle to pull, more than anything else. Had Rex realized this, he’d have never brought you back with the head still embedded.” “I don’t care about that,” Kendra said with a voice that she struggled to keep steady. “I’ve been through enough to not let that bother me. I just want to know what will happen now.” She looked directly into her aunt’s worried eyes. “The zombie grew fangs before our very eyes. It’s obvious that you altered the virus a lot more than we thought. Am I still immune to it?” Filling her lungs with air and bracing herself for the reaction that she expected to come fro

Vampires… it’s the first time hearing the word out loud by the king, for the most part, I feel as if everyone wishes to keep Zedkiel’s truth a secret. “Well, when you have a hybrid son, it’s something I would have thought you may have looked into.” I say, hoping I sound polite. But what if something happened to Zedkiel and no one is able to do anything because they don’t know or care enough to find out what he needs... “There are three poisons that are the most commonly used against vampires and going by how Zedkiel was coughing up dark blood I think it’s vervain.” “You are correct… I will simply escort you, I’m glad you know exactly what you are doing.”
