It hurts her to know someone she spent a night with, couldn't even remember. Not that she had even introduced herself, she sighed realizing she had used his confused emotions to have her way. He groaned as hangover hit him like a moving train. "Are you okay?" She asked concerned before handing him a glass of water. "Take, this should help calm your hangover". Staring at her skeptically, he took it and gulped it down. "Who are you?" He asked staring at her confused, he could have sworn the last thing he remembered was going home with Laura.

’ Xavier asked, handing over a cup of coffee and pastries. I collected them, tearing the pastry into two and shoving one half into my mouth. I was hungry. ‘I didn’t count, but last night won’t be repeating itself. I feel wasted and the headaches!’ I groaned, dropping the pastries and rubbing my forehead. I didn’t know hangovers were this bad. I always controlled myself when I had alcohol because I hated what it did to people. Xavier stood up and said, ‘Let me get you some aspirin and a glass of water. You really look bad, bro.’

And she knew exactly why. The entire bottle of red wine she downed last night. This hangover was expected. She had braced herself for this. After all, this wasn’t her first time losing control to alcohol. But unlike that night ten years ago, this time... she remembered everything.

Jacob's point of view The hangover was consuming me, the headache was awesome, I had had too much to drink the night before, and my nerves were broken. * * * Max’s POV * * * My head is spinning with what has to be the worst hangover I’ve ever experienced, or at least the worst I’ve experienced since my 21st birthday party. Not even Nate had been able to heal that shit, and we had been laid in bed for two days wishing for death. Because it had to be easier than what we had felt. I feel a smile creep onto my face at the thought of that night, and the silence around the pack the two days after, while we all recovered. Yeah, this hangover is on par with that. I don’t even try to open my eyes. I allow myself to go back to sleep. The pack will understand if I’m not seen today. I just hope the others are suffering as much as I am.

I had always been cursed with killer hangovers. The first time I had gotten drunk, which was my freshman year of high school, I had really overdone it. Without ever having a drink before, I drank way too much too quickly and ended up blackout drunk within an hour. The hangover I suffered the next day legitimately made me feel like I was dying. Ever since then, I had always tried to pace myself better but I failed to control myself last night. The hangover I was suffering today morning was nowhere near the caliber of my first one, but that didn't mean it was pleasant. I was glad to have the afternoon shift today, rather than the morning one, so I could sleep in longer.
